This brand caught my attention for reasons I did not expect. Co-founded by Mike Einziger, lead guitarist of Incubus and his wife Ann Marie Simpson-Einziger, an internationally acclaimed violinist, the two did something remarkable together outside of music. They discovered and patented Malassezin, a breakthrough molecule clinically shown to reduce dark spots and hyperpigmentation and built a skincare brand around it. I am halfway through my first jar and while it is too soon to speak to the full results the experience so far has been genuinely impressive. The texture is light and luxurious — no stickiness, no greasiness, and absolutely no scent. It absorbs effortlessly and feels like something your skin actually wants. Full results still to come but I have already seen enough to know their other products are next on my list."

Starting off, the packaging is really nice! They're heavy and quality bottles that feels worth the price! For the retinol synergist, it is my first time using something like this and I have found it to be a pleasant intro. It is not too drying or intense of a formula, while also making my skin glow a bit more! For the cream and the hero serum, they are also seeming to have a positive impact on my skin. I was surprised that the hero serum had a grainy feel to it, but I don't mind it. I was just surprised by it. Overall, I will rebuy these products as I think they are helping my skin!
