  • I’ve been using the Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream, and I can see why it’s a K-beauty classic. I love that it has SPF 42 so I feel protected when I’m out and about, and it doesn’t just sit on my skin, it has skincare benefits. I noticed ingredients like hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and niacinamide, which help keep my skin hydrated and soothed throughout the day. The coverage is light to medium, and I like how it evens out my skin tone without feeling heavy or cakey. On most days, I don’t even feel the need to layer on other makeup. It lasts pretty well too, about four to eight hours depending on how hot or humid it is. That said, there are a few things I don’t love. The fragrance is strong, and sometimes lingers longer than I’d like. When applying onto my skin the bb cream I instantly get a cherry blossom floral/citrus scent, which didn't bother me but I know others who hate fragrance skincare products will not like that. I also wish there were more shade options, especially with better undertones. I noticed for the bbcream version there are only 5 to 6 shades no nowhere near a cocoa color, or even a dark medium, it only went to medium. Their new serum version has more shades at least. I had to play around a bit to find one that didn’t look orange, some reason the lightest shade I have is peachy so I mix it with the other shade to make it cool down and match me. It hasn’t broken me out, I’ve seen others mention it can irritate acne-prone skin, so definitely do a patch test first. Overall, it’s a great all-in-one product that gives me lightweight coverage, skincare benefits, and sun protection, all at a super reasonable price, it says less than 10 dollars online. I just wish they’d tone down the scent and expand the shade range.

  • Missha! One of my first compact foundations – so fun, so bouncy, but sadly, I had to let it go! This gives a super SUPER high coverage, and has the most satin-y look to it. I feel like the sponge definitely doesn’t give a lot of foundation, though. So I’d say that even though it’s great, this product doesn’t last very long!

  • I have only tried their toner thus far. It is on the pricier side and after using up the whole bottle, I am not sure if it is worth the money. I did not recognize a difference in my skin (dry, sensitive), but I have definitely not had any flar-ups from rosacea.
