This eyeshadow palette has 14 matte/shimmer shades. The colors are very pretty. They're buildable. They're perfect for a daytime and nighttime look. You can go light or go for a bolder look. I tried the mally evercolor eyeshadow stick extra. I found it difficult to use. It did not glide on. It would stick on the lid each time I tried to use it. It doesn't really blend well because once it's on, its on there. It's very hard if not impossible to fix mistakes because it sets so fast. I tried the royal plum which was a nice dark purple. I found by the end of the night there was a couple creases, but the color was still on the whole eyelid. I also tried the mally evercolor eyeshadow stick in thistle. It's a light lilac/purple shade. This was easy to apply. It just glided on. I like the color, not too dark. Again by the end of the night I noticed a couple of creases but the color was still on the whole eyelid.
