Reviews mention

  • Ultra-clean ingredient list
  • Fresh, natural flavor profile
  • Versatile, smoothie-friendly formulas
  • Attractive, modern packaging
  • Thin, watery consistency
  • Separation and chalky sediment
  • Muted vanilla and chocolate flavor
  • Curdles or froths poorly in coffee

MALK earns strong reviews for exceptionally clean, short ingredient lists and fresh-tasting almond, oat, soy, cashew, and creamers, and many say it works well in cereal, smoothies, and matcha. However, reviews also flag a consistently thin, sometimes watery texture, separation or clumping even after shaking, muted vanilla/chocolate flavor, and poor performance in hot coffee (curdling or weak creaminess).

  • Solid Protein and flavor! Great in smoothies too and coffee. The only problem is the fibers of the milk can cause a hindering in texture, that aside it's an amazing product.

  • This is one of the only true non dairy mills that do not contain a ton of shit and actually tastes good. I’ve added it to coffee, used with cereal and it actually tastes good. Of course it’s not milk so it’s a bit more watery but this is the best non dairy milk I’ve ever had.

  • The vanilla variety I tried was delicious. It's sweetened, but it has less sugar in it compared to another brand I bought that's also sweetened vanilla. I like how it's also more creamy than the other brand I had in the fridge at the time. It's definitely a brand I'd buy again if I see it at a good price.

  • I made the switch to MALK after being loyal to a certain other oat milk brand with inflammatory oils. It took me a bit to get adjusted on the taste and texture, but I haven't looked back since. It's becoming more and more important to me to have clean, simple ingredients in my food, especially ones I use multiple times per day, and MALK is one of the only who deliver. It's important to remember to really shake the bottle each time because the oats settle in the bottom and can be grainy. As they gain popularity, I hope MALK will make larger bottles because I have to purchase two+ each week just to cover what's needed for matcha/coffee, smoothies, chia pudding, etc. Also, I won't lie, it kills me a bit each time to pick these off the shelf seeing how much more expensive it is to buy a smaller bottle with less ingredients. I never saw $12/week for milk in my future, but it's the world we live in. I tend to stock up when its on sale, because I run through it quickly anyway!

  • My favorite almond milk brand. Simple ingredients and no fillers. Taste is amazing. Love the vanilla one for lattes.

  • This is one of my go-to almon milks that I use in smoothies, matcha, coffee, etc. The fact that it is gum-free is a huge plus for me. I find that it does froth well either with a hand frother or a frother machine.

  • I think this is the best brand for plant milk with minimal/simple ingredients. For me, the ingredients and the taste are equivalent to homemade plant milk but with the added convenience of being able to purchase it at the store. I purchase the unsweetened almond milk and I use it with my frother from nespresso. It produces amazing foam, resulting in the best almond milk cappuccinos and lattes. There is some separation, which is expected since there are no stabilizers, but it doesn’t result in granulation or distorted taste.

  • I'm really wary of the additives in most plant-based milk (sunflower oil, gums, etc), so I appreciate that MALK only has three ingredients. I usually blend my MALK with matcha or coffee, so I can't really speak to the flavor or taste when it's not mixed into anything. But the health factor is a huge plus!

It doesn't froth super well in lattes, but that's because there's no added sugars.

  • Love both the oat and almond malks. The product has very clean ingredients and tastes creamy.

The only downside of this milk alternative versus other ones besides the the price is that it tends to spoil faster. It tends to get finished very quickly in my household though!

  • I went dairy free about 6 years ago now, and have tried so many different plant milks it's not even funny. This brand stands out to me not only for the taste, but how simple the ingredients are. So many brands throw in numerous amounts of additives and chemicals. Malk keeps it simple and effective.

  • Best almond milk on the market. It's impossible to find almond milk without all the added gums and junk. Great product. Even froths well :)

  • Hands down one of my favorite dairy free milks on the market. I try my best to avoid additives and excessive oils, and there aren't many brands that are pursuing that same path. Malk has mastered, in my opinion, the right consistency and flavor of dairy free milk without destroying the purpose of drinking a healthier alternative by adding weird stuff you can't even pronounce. I also enjoy the packaging if that matters to anyone but me lol.

Would enjoy a larger version of the bottle but that's it really.

  • Personally, this is my #1 for almond milk. I don't normally see it in stores, but when I do, I grab two. I first bought it for cold brew but loved it so much I started eating breakfast cereal and granola again. For me, the perfect consistency and flavor.

  • I've repurchased this product several times, although it's pricey, it's worth it in my opinion for 3 reasons; 1. This is one of the very few dairy-free options available without any binders, thickeners or sweeteners 2. I've attempted to make oak and almond milk at home and can never achieve the same taste and consistency as this milk - it's light and has a great flavor. 3. Convenience

  • The taste is great! The fact that there are only 3 ingredients helps you know what you are really drinking and that’s important! Clean ingredients and great taste

This is definitely worth a try!!!

  • I use this stuff for coffee/tea, cake batter/cake soaks, and for cereal/oats. It produces great results for all of these, although the experience is very different from regular milk. It's amazing that they were able to make this without stabilizers/additives/oils, and maybe that's why it doesn't have the strange aftertaste that some other milk alternatives have.

    Feedback

It's not as stable as other milk alternatives, so you *really* have to make sure to shake it before use. Sometimes if you take too long to drink it, it begins to settle in your cup and your last sips become a little chalky.
