Magic Spoon largely satisfies those seeking a healthier, high‑protein, low‑sugar riff on nostalgic cereals, according to reviews, but it is not universally loved. Reviewers praise its 13g protein per serving, gluten‑free/grain‑free formulas, fun flavors like Fruity, Cocoa, Cinnamon Roll, and Maple Waffle, and cheerful packaging; common complaints cite an artificial or stevia/monk‑fruit aftertaste, gummy texture that sticks to teeth, flavor inconsistency (especially some chocolate/peanut butter variants), limited satiety for some, and very small, pricey boxes.

Really tasty. Tasted just like fruit loops. Kind of expensive. Wish the ingredients were cleaner.

Nice alternative to sugary cereal

I have enjoyed Magic Spoon cereal, it tastes much better than those from well-known brands.

I was super excited for this high-protein breakfast option, but was IMMEDIATELY disappointed. As a person who never wastes food and will eat almost anything if it isn't great, I spat this out the second it touched my lips. Tasted like stale styrofoam.

Very small boxes, only a couple bowls per box, so for $10 a box absolutely not. Got it to try gluten free. Tasted ok but nothing special at all.

This brand doesn’t have a chalky taste even for it to contain protein. It tastes amazing and I love how I can still get my protein in!

Honestly it’s hard to go back to other cereals after this. So easy to digest and not too sweet! Wish it was a bit cheaper

Gluten free and good clean ingredients but not as tasty as traditional cereal (although much healthier). The price is a bit too high for my family right now.

This has got to be my FAVOURITE breakfast granola bars of all time. I suffer from crazy bloating and this company doesn’t make me feel ill at all!!

I wanted to love this cereal. I tried all the flavors and it tasted close to a cereal but not quite there. Sadly won’t be buying again.

I appreciate what this brand is doing but did not love the flavor.

It's a cool idea, but I think it all tasted so bad, and I don't like how much it costs for how little you actually get

Magic Spoon offers an incredibly wide selection of different flavors for their "adult cereal" line. I absolutely love how Magic Spoon allows me to have a tasty breakfast, without the "guilt" of consuming too many fats or calories. It has served me incredibly well for my calorie-deficit diet and, because it offers so many flavors, allowed me to never get bored with eating the same thing day after day. With a lot of flavors, come a lot of different reviews. I found that the simpler flavors such as "Frosted" or "Cinnamon", were the tastier ones. "Peanut Butter" had a weird flavor, not close to actual peanut butter. What could they do better? Some of their flavors tend to be a bit chewy and stick to teeth when eating. However, I find this to be a minor nuisance. I have been eating Magic Spoon daily for over 6 months now and I absolutely recommend them! I also found their "Treats" to be chewy and not as tasty as their cereal. Overall, I wouldn't recommend them.

I have tried ALL kinds of protein cereal. Magic spoon is unlike any healthy cereal out there!!!!! It is grain free, high protein, low carb AND keto friendly. I’ve tried cocoa and peanut butter. They both taste absolutely amazing. They are on the smaller side, more like a cheerio. Add your favorite milk, an you have the perfect high protein snack or breakfast. I’m obsessed!

I lived these! They taste very similar to fruity cheerios, however, they have very little added sugar. It’s a great snack and good healthier alternative for kid’s cereal

It’s definitely not Keto friendly. The only thing going for it is that it doesn’t have the sugar content of our favorite childhood cereal. Since I’m on the ketogenic diet I had to give them away, but kept the bowl and spoon. The family I gave the boxes of differing flavors loved it. I doubt they’d buy it tho.

Flavored sawdust but had a gastric bypass so meets my needs. The peanut butter one of three I tried was my favorite. Satisfying crunch and flavor not bad.

The grain free cinnamon roll cereal is so yummy! I eat a bowl before bed & feel full until the next day.
