Reviewers praise its 13g protein per serving, gluten‑free/grain‑free formulas, fun flavors like Fruity, Cocoa, Cinnamon Roll, and Maple Waffle, and cheerful packaging; common complaints cite an artificial or stevia/monk‑fruit aftertaste, gummy texture that sticks to teeth, flavor inconsistency (especially some chocolate/peanut butter variants), limited satiety for some, and very small, pricey boxes.

  • I have tried both a cereal and the magic spoon marshmallow bars. I love the bars and also enjoyed the cereal. I have bought the bars several times now and am glad they are releasing more flavors. Bit pricey for a pack of 4.

  • SOOOO yummy! Can eat a big bowl and not feel guilty at all! Always finish feeling satiated and happy

  • If you are looking for a healthy alternative to sugary cereal this is it! Household staple, just wish it was available in more stores!

  • I appreciate a cereal alternative to the primary junk on the shelves....one that's full of protein and low in sugar. I also appreciate that they don't use anything artificial. However, I do wish their product was organic and didn't use sunflower oil. For the price, it's just not worth it for me. I prefer other cereals.....but my husband does love this cereal, and it's something I can feel better about him consuming.

  • Such a good cereal! I wish it was affordable to eat more often though, looking forward to new flavors and items from magic spoon.

  • This cereal is pretty good as a healthier alternative to regular cereals. The added protein is definitely it's biggest draw, the cinnamon is alright and the cocoa is almost addictive but not because it's so fantastic. The texture is crunchy and great!

  • I enjoy the innovation of this brand, and how fun they make the cereal. However, the ingredients are still not clean compared to major brands, AND in my area (rural Ohio) it is $10 per box! Absurd!

  • Allergy friendly and low carb, yes! Many different flavors. Flavors are a little off, not as strong as others. Maybe cause it’s low sugar content. Cereal gets soft fast.

  • I love their product. It was very amazing and super tasty.. I highly recommend this brand for anyone that is interested in purchasing their product.

  • LOVE Magic Spoon cereal, have been eating it since early Covid times! Fruity is my favorite flavor. Great as cereal with milk or dry just to snack on. Delicious and high-protein -- I just love Magic Spoon.

  • I am a big cereal person, so it great to have an option to help with hitting protein targets. Tastes great, but I will say it doesn't last long if you are also a big cereal bowl eater like me.

  • I’m IN LOVE with the peanut butter flavor! I love that it’s a healthier option compared to regular cereal! One of my go-tos!

  • They are delicious. I bought the Costco sized pack of these because they are that good. The kids and my husband love them as well. They are great for an afternoon snack or even a light lunch. Dont sleep on these!

  • Great tasting, and the look is really a cool design, I loved the taste and texture I will continue to purchase based upon my perchase..

  • I love this cereal for the protein content and the fact that it's gluten free. It is a little dry and lacks the strong flavor of mainstream cereals - but the ingredient and nutritional content make up for it.

  • I'm questioning many of these reviews on here as I've had quite a bad experience with this cereal. I got the variety pack and only tasted 2 of the 6 flavors (Frosted and Cocoa) but had to stop eating them ONLY BECAUSE they were both very synthetic/chemically tasting. I wanted to taste each flavor, but was getting nauseated after the first one, so tried one more flavor and that made my nausea worse which was a mistake. And no, it wasn't the milk that caused it. Both of the ones I tried tasted very sweet, so I started to look at the nutrition label and the ingredients. It says no sugar BUT in very small print on the front (listed under "Protein" for some reason), it says they don't have to disclose sugar content because they are using "allulose" and the FDA does not consider allulose in the requirements to add it to the nutrition labeling. The ingredient is banned in Europe and Canada as a side note, but that isn't what I was worried about. I'm trying to figure out how something that tastes horrible can have some many good reviews. Maybe their target audience isn't for me since I don't have any health problems and don't need to watch my fat and sugar intake as much as others, but it really does taste like health food.

  • The ingredients are great and so so much better than traditional cereals. The taste is more subtle because it's naturally sweetened. The texture though is really hard and crunchy. Some might like it that way but I like my cereal to get a little soggy sitting in milk.

  • This cereal is the perfect cross between the kid cereal you love and the healthy cereal you want to love. The taste is nicely like the kid cereal you know and love, with delightfully whimsical artwork and activities on the box. It's really healthy for you so enjoying sweet flavored cereal doesn't make you feel guilty. It's also really good right out of the box without even needing any milk to enjoy it with.
