Lindt Reviews

Best of Thingtesting4.2

Lindt earns strong reviews as a reliably indulgent chocolate brand, praised for velvety, melt-in-mouth truffles and rich bars like the Dark Chocolate Chili, yet docked for overly sweet profiles and occasional flavor imbalances (notably the Dubai pistachio bar). Reviews highlight impressive seasonal varieties and gifting appeal, but note inconsistent filling intensity, increasing sweetness, and concerns about ingredient transparency and limited vegan satisfaction.

  • In terms of a grocery store chocolate i think Lindt is hands down one of the best. I always get a Lindt chocolate bunny for easter as a treat. I also could eat a whole box of the lindt balls they are just so moreish! Over the years the price has really shot up so i usually only buy them when they are on special.

  • Delicious and good quality chocolate truffles that come in a variety id specialty and holiday varieties. Perfect for teacher appreciation or to add to stocking stuffer bundles for kids and teens at Christmas.

  • The chocolate from this brand is always a really nice treat, especially around the holidays. They're very smooth and just melt in your mouth, but I have found recently that it's been getting sweeter and sweeter in a nott so enjoyable way (though it may be that I'm growing out of my sweet tooth)!

  • This company would do well to change the way it's operating. On their 'members website', they have offers which are presented as members prices (337g for £8.50), but when you go into Tesco, the price is cheaper (337g for £8). Additionally, they have offers online which have best before dates 2/3 weeks from delivery (see my example below and their response). I haven't been able to locate anywhere on their website which lays out BB dates for products you've purchased. Lastly, the reviews appear to be censored. Letter of compliant to Lindt and their response... Hi, I purchased 2 X 3 bars of the Dubai chocolate from you on 18 Nov for presents. You sent me chocolate with a best before date of 30 Nov!!!!. I've just realized this and I am absolutely furious ! Lindt response Dear Mr..., Thank you for contacting Lindt. I am sorry to hear you are disappointed by the Best Before Date of our Dubai Style range. This is due to the nature of the product and the ingredients used which creates a shorter shelf life. All of our short dated stock is marked on our website on the product page which you can find here. You are welcome to return any unwanted items, as long as they are unopened. I am afraid that we are unable to accept returns of opened goods.  I apologise for all the inconvenience this has caused and please let me know if you have any further questions. Many Thanks ECOMM Customer Service Team
