Lil Bucks Reviews

4.7

Lil Bucks earns positive reviews for delivering crunchy, nutrient-dense buckwheat toppers and Clusterbucks that elevate yogurt, smoothie bowls, salads, and ice cream, with standouts like Golden Chai and birthday cake flavors. Reviews also flag weaknesses—oversized hard chunks that can hurt teeth, excess crumb ā€œdust,ā€ occasional overpowering cinnamon, and a desire for more consistent cluster sizes and grab‑and‑go formats—making it a strong pick for texture and clean ingredients if one can tolerate the crunch intensity.

  • I was lucky to have had the opportunity to taste test a new product from Lil bucks. I received two other flavors different than the strawberry one. I love anything strawberry so jumped at the chance to buy a 3 pack of these. The texture and taste is very close to non-vegan rice crispy treats, but obviously healthier ingredients and a pretty good nutritional panel. While small, it is a decent size snack to have on the go.

  • I have been purchasing the lil bucks sprouted buckwheat crunchy toppings for a while now, and they are literally perfect on everything. sweet or savory, they add a great crunch and a nice protein and fiber boost too!

  • I am a returning and frequent customer of Lil Bucks since at least May 2022. While I can't recall how I learned/tried this brand, it is something I see as a staple to have. The company is ever evolving in how to be sustainable and be the best they can be for their customers. With the exception of the two products with honey, their products are vegan. I love all the clusterbucks which are flavorful, but not overly sweet. I recently started having them as a snack by themself which is good. Otherwise, each flavor is great for topping a smoothie bowl. The nutritional panel is pretty promising as well. The seasoning bottle they have is something that I really love to use to season certain meals and especially avocado toast. A newer product is the everything bucks clusters which is very similar to the everything seasoning; I liked it upon trying it out early before it reached other consumers and it a great topping on salads and savory meals alike.

  • Well it is ok, and not too sweet. Which I like. Also does not hurt my mout. The taste is ok. But $6 for not so full bag. But a lot.

Lil Bucks, America's buckwheat brand, makes crunchy snacks and toppings out of the underutilized superfood, sprouted buckwheat. Our founder Emily first fell in love with buckwheat for the crunch and health benefits, but it was learning about the soil health benefits that possessed Emily with the mission to popularize buckwheat in the U.S.A. Healthier soil = healthier crops for humans, and abundant harvests for generations to come.
