These cookies are really more like small cakes! One goes a long way and they are delicious. Great gift, always a hit to bring over for a dinner party! 

Levain cookies are as decadent as it gets. Each little bakery is quaint, full of incredible cookies that are thick, warm, and oh so gooey. Chock full of chocolate and/or nuts, the best are straight from the oven, where there is a cookie dough like center. If you like thick, gooey cookies with a lightly crisp exterior, these are for you.

very good! Make sure you have lots of milk or water on hand - these cookies are iconic and smell heavenly, but they're also very rich and I can't imagine eating more than 1/2 of one in one sitting. 

Both the in-store cookies, and frozen cookies are amazing. I haven't had a flavor I didn't like! They are on the more dense side so keep that in mind! They're also huge so they're great for sharing IMO.

Decadence, chocolate-forward complimented with the walnuts. I enjoy getting a sweet treat from Levain's, makes a great gift/date.  However, overpriced and very indulgent. 

Always a good idea. I now go for their vegan option — I wish that they would separate out the vegan and gluten-free alternatives, but certainly better to have something than nothing!

Not a cookie girl but love their chocolate chips cookie. I often buy them as a gift and take out of town friends to their stores as well. 


Levain bakery is best fresh. I do not like ordering it in or saving it for later. You want them hot and piping. Needless to say I always have a bit of a stomach ache after them.

I went out of my way to go to Levain and dragged my friend with me in the pouring rain. These cookies are the most overhyped cookie i've had in NYC. They needed salt desperately and were a tad too dry. I'm not someone who has chill and will eat the entirety of whatever is in front of me. I threw away all three flavors i tried because they weren't worth the calories. My friend still shames me for making her buy them. I only gave two stars because some people are hardcore lovers, and taste is entirely subjective. 

If you're looking for an indulgent cookie, you need not look further than Levian. The cookies are GIANT and ooey-gooey delicious. Brought my Aunt to one of their BK locations and she was obsessed - ended up going back to Ohio and learning how to bake from their recipe so she'd have a personal stash whenever!

If you intend on visiting one of their physical locations in NYC, be prepared for a line. It moves quick but it's definitely a hyped-up and touristy spot. 

Levain is known and loved for its thick and gooey cookies - my favourites are the Dark Chocolate Chip and Oatmeal Raisin! They're a satisfying treat and their NYC locations are classic. They also sell frozen cookies in the supermarket which taste *almost* as good as the fresh ones you get in the store or order online. 

THE BEST COOKIES. THE ABSOLUTE BEST COOKIES. OH MY GOSH. CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH. 

I absolutely love Levain’s cookies!! My favorite is the dark chocolate peanut butter chip. The cookies are always super thick and indulgent. Worth my $5 every time.

Decided to treat myself on an evening out with a friend and I’m so glad I did. Absolutely worth the hype, super moist and chocolatey, the perfect sweet snack. Cute packaging too!!

It’s a must stop in New York. The hood are always fresh and the cookies are to die for. Absolutely love. Worth the hype that these cookies get.
