I love cashmere, specifically ALOT of items from Naked Cashmere. However, I was always taking to dry cleaner. Although nervous to wash cashmere at home, after doing much research, I purchased from the Laundress and feel confident with the first gentle wash and complete lay flat air dry. The scent is subtle, in my opinion, which is great and garments do feel clean. I am looking forward to using the spray in between washes to elongate their wear. In an unexpected plot twist, the sweater comb stole the show. I started using it on a sweater that I was not wearing out of the house due to the pilling. WARNING the sweater comb is addicting and you will want to go through your closet and hit all items with pills. It was gentle and easy enough to use and EFFECTIVE. The reason for 3/5 stars is because I have not yet worn the washed garments and I want to see how long I can go between washes. (As of 12/14/25) Update, I wore a Laundress cleaned cashmere sweater and it felt just as it would from the dry cleaner. it was soft, comfortable, no loss of shape or areas not fully dry. I will continue to use this method! (As of 12/19/25)
