I'd say their chai is 4.5/5. For some reason, I like how I make their chai blend at home than what I get at their cafe in NYC

I've tried KCC's rose masala chai, and it's really good! I'd highly recommend checking out their 2 stores in New York, and they also sell their own chai blends online so it's easy for people to make their own chai at home. Has a great authentic chai flavor, not watered down or overly sweet like other companies. I drink chai everyday so I am very particular about the taste, and KCC does it exceptionally well! I've had my friends from different backgrounds try out the chai at their cafes as well, and they really loved it.

My sister in law is obsessed with chai - which is a problem, because she's really picky about getting a truly authentic chai. She's always disappointed with how much sugar is added to options she can have at home or the lack of true spice. I stumbled on Kolkata Chai when I was researching presents for her and ordered their Signature Masala Chai Mix to try brewing myself before I fully signed up for this as her gift. It did NOT disappoint. You get a good amount of spice, but the tea and spice are still in balance with one another and each spice comes through clearly. They also included helpful instructions for at-home brewing for newbies like me. It was a winner. I gifted her their Signature Masala Chai Mix and their Rose Masala Chai Mix. Rose didn't end up being her thing, but she really appreciated the depth of flavor in both and the spices. I also really appreciated the smaller bags that you can buy in multiples so the spices aren't getting stale after you open it. It's easy to work your way through a pouch in time to keep a really fresh flavor. The branding is also lovely for gifting. (They also included a free strainer, which was a really nice touch especially for gifting the bags to someone else.)

Really love this stuff. I had never tried chai, saw their ad on IG, and ordered it. I've been drinking it for over a year. The taste is fantastic, rich in spices. I always make mine with oatmilk which has some added sugar for sweetness. Would highly recommend.

Yum! This is a lovely balanced blend of tea and spices and so easy to brew. I like to sweeten it with barely a teaspoon of molasses or honey. It's very soothing. I'm looking forward to trying the rose blend!
