Kitsch reviews and discussion

Really surprised that Kitsch doesn’t have any reviews yet. I use Kitsch towel scrunchies and absolutely love it!!! My hair ends up softer and healthier in the morning. I have plans to try more Kitsch products in the future for sure.

I got the Rice Water Protein Shampoo and Conditioner bars and fell in love. I also got the mesh bags with makes application a breeze. They clean my hair and make it thick, full and bouncy. I also got the silk pillow case and just love how it makes my skin so smooth. I will definitely order again.

Very mediocre cheap products. This brand is too overhyped imo I was disappointed. I tried one of their exfoliating gloves for the first time and it ended up ripping after only 4 uses. And mind you they are charging around $10-$15 for it. I did not use the glove in a harsh way just for very basic body scrubbing. I have a couple of their hair clips too. They are okay nothing special....you can get recycled plastic hair clips from many brands and even from China now for cheaper. I have also heard anecdotally that their shampoos make some people's hair fall out so I am doubtful about this company's quality overall. I fear this is another greenwashed brand just with good marketing tactics. After my bad experience with their basic hair products I won't be trying anything else.

My comments are not about the products, but about the service. My very first(and only) order with this company online was charged to my credit card and the, to my surprise, their system cancelled the order. There were a number of items ordered. When I contacted them, they had no idea why. It took awhile to see the money credit back to my cc. This summer while I was travelling, I received a notification that a "subscription" was getting ready to be shipped. Knowing that I had NOT ordered a subscription item(s) and never having received anything from them before, I reached out to their contact us email. They could not find any subscription attached to my email. I even provided them with my work email. They assured me no subscription was found and it was likely a glitch that I received the original subscription notification. A few days later, I received another notification that my "subscription" had shipped. Again, I reached out to the contact us email and was now told that they found the subscription this time. (AGAIN) I did not subscribe or order this item! Now, I was told that my cc was billed. I gather the cc info stayed in the system from the original failed order attempt - although I don't know how or why? The response was - don't worry just ship it back when it arrives as a return....The item arrived yesterday, so I reached out to find out how to ship it back and get my money back...the answer was that they expect ME to PAY FOR SHIPPING the item back when this has been a series of mistakes and confusion on their part. It's always the same story..sorry we are a small business trying our best. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. The order that I did not order and was charged for is now going in the trash as shipping back will be about $20. They don't care that their error cost me money.

I lost all my hair due to chemo. My daughter bought me the rice shampoo to try as she had read reviews that claimed to help with hair growth. I love the smell. It’s clean and fresh and not at all overpowering as far as the scent. If I had not seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn’t have believed it. The first few months after I finished chemo, my hair just wasn’t growing back. Once I started using this shampoo, it seemed my hair was growing overnight. I was so excited that I started washing my mostly bald head every night. I couldn’t believe the results. As life would have it, my hair was growing in gray and I noticed it was becoming a yellowish gray so I decided to try the purple shampoo. I’m finding the purple shampoo does remove a little of the yellow but not all of it. Regardless, I am still continuing with the rice shampoo to keep my hair growing!
