Kitsch Reviews

4.0

Kitsch earns mixed reviews: its hair accessories and tools work well—reliable claw clips, crease-free silk ties, satin pillowcases, towel scrunchies, vented brush, and effective heatless curlers—yet performance varies across haircare and body items. Reviews praise eco‑friendly materials, growth-boosting Rice Water shampoo bars, and sleek designs, but cite inconsistent results (heavy shampoos/conditioners, modest dry-brush effect, dermaplaner irritation), product failures (spray bottle, ripping exfoliating glove), and multiple customer-service frustrations with orders and subscriptions.

  • love this wand for taming flyaways, though it takes a bit of practice before getting used to it. definitely solves a small problem (bun & ponytail strays) with a simple solution. love the brand overall!

  • This hair stick actually works so well. Wasn't expecting it too since the stick doesn't seem very glue like but it's a blessing that it actually uses castor oil instead which also helps hair look glossy and improves hair growth. I use the hair scalp oil even just to tame frizziness and biotin is supposed to help hair growth. love that it is vegan and eco-friendly!

  • I have been using these products for a while and some are really good quality and work well. The dermaplaner, however, makes me breakout without fail. I am not sure if that is user error but every time I use it I get a tiny zit from the irritation.

  • I got this exfoliating body dry brush after seeing lots of videos of dry brushing and how it helps with lymphatic drainage. So I decided to give it a try. I do notice when I’m extremely dry and in the winter that it feels like it does release like the very top of the dry skin layer but doing this I don’t notice a huge difference. Maybe I need to use it more, but in terms of drainage, I don’t feel it doing a whole lot. I’m willing to keep trying and as I sit here and play with it maybe if I took more time and was intentional with my dry brushing I might like it more, so I’m gonna give this a four out of five and for the price point out of a lot of dry brushes I think this is good.
