Kerrygold earns emphatic reviews as a richly flavored, creamy butter that elevates baking and simple toast alike, confirming the brand is excellent at what it does. Reviewers praise its vibrant golden color, grass‑fed provenance, and consistent performance, while noting drawbacks like a harder‑to‑measure European block format and a flavor better suited to spreading than high‑heat cooking.

Growing up my family just used whatever “butter” or margarine that was on sale. I never really thought twice about it until I tried Kerrygold. You can truly taste and see the difference. It is pricey but they are on sale frequently.

Kerrygold butter is one of those pantry staples that just makes everything taste better. It’s rich, creamy, and has that unmistakable golden color that sets it apart from regular butter. I use it for cooking, baking, and even just spreading on toast, it always adds a deeper, more flavorful taste. If anything, I wish it came in a more convenient stick format in every store, since the European-style block can be harder to measure for baking. But flavor-wise, it’s consistently amazing. Definitely worth the extra couple of dollars.

One of my go -to butters. Love that it comes from grass-fed cows that pasture on small farms, as well as the minimal packaging (no plastic wrappers). Great for baking, spreading on toast, cooking eggs…. And a good price to boot.

THE BEST BUTTER EVER! The difference is so, so obvious and I can’t ever go back. I was never able to make cookies the way I wanted, melty and gooey with a slight set on the edges, that hold their shape. Until now.

This is the best grass fed butter known to man. I keep a stick in my countertop butter dish at all times for cooking, spreading, throwing into pasta, and if you’re my son taking a chomp out of. I don’t stop him bc it’s that good! 😆

My favorite brand of butter. Deffffinitely at a higher price point for butter but you can taste the difference. If I’m baking or adding to recipes I’ll use cheaper butter, but if buttering bread or using for something where the butter flavor will be really standout then worth the splurge and going with Kerrygold.

This is the only butter I buy; their salted butter has the perfect balance of salt and creaminess that expect from good, high quality butter. I've never had a bad experience with this, you can just tell it's good quality by the way it looks and tastes.

Kerrygold Pure Irish butter is in a class all to itself. Made from milk from grass-fed cows, this pure butter derives from cows grazing on small family owned farms in Ireland. Unlike the many alternatives that are loaded with a complicated ingredient list, Kerrygold Irish Butter is simple and clean. It only has a couple of ingredients: cream, salt and contains milk. Since trying Kerrygold, I haven't purchased any other brands of butter. Kerrygold Irish Butter might be on the pricier side of things but it is definitely worth the money and the taste is impeccably creamy and rich. There is no oily texture to this butter. Add Kerrygold Irish butter to your next dish, like I have, and you will taste how delicious this butter is. High recommended. Worth the money. Quality over Quantity.

I love this butter. It is rich and better than simple store-bought ones. I love to put it in bread and cook with it. I also like that it is sold at Trader Joe's.
Kerrygold Butter is absolutely fantastic! The flavor is rich, creamy, and so much more vibrant than any other butter I’ve tried. It spreads effortlessly and elevates anything it touches, from toast to baked goods. You can really taste the difference, and it’s clear that the quality is top-notch. It’s a must-have in my kitchen, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone who loves a delicious, premium butter!
The best butter for cooking, baking, anything and everything. Maybe I'm biased because I'm Irish, but I swear by Kerrygold!
High quality and luxurious. This is different than any butter I’ve had. Very decadent and yummy
Kerrygold is the best when it comes to finding high quality grass-fed butter. The color is a rich yellow and it has lots of flavor. It is on the pricey side for butter.
This butter is such a high quality butter and I use it for a variety of different things from putting on bread by itself to cooking and also baking. I think butter is one of those things that it is worth paying a little bit more for a high quality product and this is one of those products.
Definitely the best butter around. I've visited where they're at in Ireland and not only are the cows treated amazing and the grass is better than most spots, but the taste is incredible. Kerrygold is one of my favorite products overall and I will always choose them.
I love the taste, and the look. However, it does err a bit pricy though I have to imagine that's from the cost of importing from Ireland. I will say I do recommend it more as a spreading butter as opposed to a cooking butter. While it as a cooking butter can add a lot of good flavor, the flavor on it's own is immaculate. Better to taste it on it's own than mixed into another product.
