I wish it were a liquid instead of a pencil because my eyelids make it tricky to fill in the gap, so l used a Danessa Myricks groundwork palette to fill in the gap. The eyepencil does stay in place; once it was on my eyelids, it doesn't move. When I washed off my makeup with my cleanser, the eyeliner wanted to stay put. There was a little bit of the black eyeliner still trying to stay on my waterline. It's just a preference for me, because liquid eyeliner is easier to make a wing eyeliner than a pencil one, too. The eye pencil shape is not a sharp, thin top applicator, it has more of a round top and a medium thick size.
