Joyride Sweets (Project 7) reviews and discussion

Joy Ride candy is over all delicious. I love that they’re lower in sugar and have natural dyes and are plant based. The packaging is adorable and the price is on point for the quality of the product. For Halloween I passed out Joy Ride candy and all the kids were happy. My only issue is I’ve emailed customer service about some of the lollipops being empty and they don’t respond at all, nothing, no one is home.

I find joyride sweets is definitely better tasting than other ‘healthier’ candy brands on the market. The sourness definitely helps to mask the ‘healthiness’ of it and the texture of the gummies is great.

I go these thinking they would be a good go to for when I don’t have any smart sweets on hand, but these were absolutely NOT IT. The ones I had are super hard too chew and have no sweet flavor whatsoever! I probably won’t purchase again.

My absolute favorite, low sugar, gummies. I think they got the texture so right and left the flavor. My favorite are the traditional gummy bears.

I like that this brand makes candies that I can eat with zero guilt because they have either low or no sugar at all in them. The best out of the ones I tried were the sour fruit gummy bears and the worms. The red licorice was disappointing to me.

Certain flavors are better than others, the strips are much better than the licorice. I do like the cleaner ingredients and bought them because the owner is great on social media but they’re pricey and I’d rather have no candy honestly.

I was very pleasantly surprised by these gummies- they were super chewy, did not taste low sugar, and best of all are vegan. They are pricier but I would highly recommend to someone looking for a sugar free alternative.

As a candy addict, I was initially hesitant to try a low-sugar alternative. I was a bit skeptical about the taste, as I've tried other low-sugar options in the past that were not very appealing. But as soon as I took my first bite, I was impressed. The texture is different from traditional gummy candy, but after a few bites, I started to enjoy it. The sour gummy worms have been my favorite thus far. What's even better is that these candies are low in sugar, which is a huge plus for me. They're a great alternative for anyone looking to curb their sugar intake without sacrificing taste. Overall, I would recommend giving SmartSweets a try. The company has come a long way since its launch in 2016, and I'm excited to see what new products they come up with next.
