  • Love jenis! It’s definitely a better experience to go to a storefront, but I’ve had the pints as well and they’re still pretty good! My favorite flavor is the almond praline and the bramble berry crisp :) jenis always has interesting flavors, and is worth the splurge if you’re looking for a well-balanced (flavor wise) sweet treat.

  • Their ice cream flavors are so unique. All so tasty! The dark chocolate is the best I've had anywhere.

No cons for me! I love Jeni's!

  • My absolute favorite ice cream is gooey butter cake. Best part was seeing it as gluten free when initially I thought I wouldn’t be able to try that flavor.

  • I am a self-proclaimed ice cream connoisseur and always make a beeline for the “artisan” flavors. Jeni’s ice cream comes in a variety of interesting flavors, has a creamy and smooth consistency, and wholly delivers a satisfying experience. I love how colorful and unique the packaging is, and that the ice cream is available at most stores near me (Publix, Fresh Market, Target). I wouldn’t choose Jeni’s first, but that isn’t because the product isn’t good, more so because sometimes I’m looking for a more “classic” flavor, which Jeni’s doesn’t always provide.

Price is really high for the size, even compared to other high end ice creams.

  • Rich, creamy and delicious. Not a pint full of air, is there more to Say? So many flavors - so short of time

  • The best ice cream. I try all kinds of ice cream and this one is top tier. Flavors are fun, innovative, different, and super tasty. Texture and creaminess is one of the best out there. Worth every penny.

    It’s perfect as it is!

  • If you love super creamy ice cream, you'll love Jeni's. Their classics Brown Butter Almon Brittle or Brambleberry Crisp are great.

I do think many of their flavors are very similar. Some sort of fruity jam flavor or a nut + chocolate flavor.

  • I think this is first novelty ice-cream brand that actually gets the texture right. I am incredibly partial to the bramble berry crisp flavor as the fusion of tart and sweet is just *chef's kiss*.

The chocolate-based flavors leave much to desire. If I want anything chocolate, I find myself for other brands because they have yet to create a flavor I'm impressed by and want to reach for.

  • I ordered the Top Seller's Collection just to be safe and wow these are all awesome! My favorite has to be the salty peanut butter with chocolate flecks. Very impressed and honestly worth every penny!

  • I'm lucky enough to live near a Jeni's Ice Cream shop and it's so good that I still go buy entire pints from the grocery store. Their flavors are unique and so so tasty. Brown Butter Almond Brittle will always be my #1

  • Jeni’s is EVERYTHING to me. I have never had a flavor I don’t like. The Cream Puff and Sweet Biscuits and Peach Jam flavors are my all time faves. Their vegan flavors are just as yummy as their dairy flavors which is not usually the case! Their vegan flavors are not a second thought but actually have fully actualized incredible taste and texture. I celebrate every win with Jeni’s and I don’t plan on changing that anytime soon.

I just wish it was stocked in more stores!!

  • Every single flavor I've tried (which is a lot) has been outstandingly delicious. So creative and high quality, too.

It's really hard to find!! New flavors don't go into all stores, and ordering online requires ordering a huge quantity, which isn't always practical.

  • I love the branding/colors and the variety of flavors. They're very unique and special! I tend to find them too sweet, though, and wish they used less sugar. Also, the ingredients don't seem to be organic/regenerative, despite the marketing.

    Feedback

Use a bit less sugar and start to use more organic/regenerative ingredients

  • Pretty simple: I think this is the best ice cream in the US. Full disclosure, I discovered this company when it had two stores and barely started distribution. I helped launch it on The Grommet.

I understand that corn starch is a key ingredient to creating the mouth feel of Jeni's. That kind of bugs me. And I placed an order recently and thought the flavor offerings were more conservative than they used to be.

  • The best!! The brambleberry crisp and ooey gooey cake are my favs. Super unique flavors and love all of them!

  • I've loved Jeni's ice creams for years now, and I'm so glad that their pints are readily available in a lot of groceries. As with most things, it's always better to eat Jeni's from their parlors, but these pints are a fine substitute for the "real" thing.

    Nothing!

  • I love Jeni's, especially the corn ice cream. PLEASE BRING IT BACK THIS SUMMER! Sometimes, some of the flavors are too sweet for me, but that's personal preference.

  • I discovered Jeni’s while living in LA, and have visited their shop in Venice. I’ve never had a flavor of Jeni’s that I didn’t like. But, Brambleberry Crisp, Gooey Butter Cake, and Brown Butter Almond Brittle are especially good. If you’re a fan of rich-flavored Ice cream with a great texture, Jeni’s ranks pretty high for me, alongside Salt & Straw.

The Good - Flavors - Texture The Bad - Still has limited distribution; I’ve only been able to find it at Whole Foods - Price is high relative to other ice cream (but honestly very worth it)

  • Literally the best ice cream hands-down. Always creamy, never icy. Flavors are well-balanced and not overly sweet. Our favorites are Peanut Butter, Brown Butter Almond Brittle, and Salty Caramel. Frose is perfect on a hot summer night.
