- Unprofessional, arrogant, haughty owner (Bret) who communicated disrespectfully. 
- Unable to fulfil orders in given time frame at point or purchase, and neither communicates proactively to update me,  nor apologises for mistakes made. 
- When critical review left on a site when the order was not fulfilled anywhere close to the time frame stated,  order cancelled “given your review” after months of waiting (see photo) 
- Please do yourself a favour and do not order from this truly unprofessional shop.
- Look on their Etsy site, order reviews from bad to good, and you will see many others have this experience. 

Most disappointing and frustrating purchase experience of my life. I thought I could be patient and the wait for my light would be worth it — but it’s been over 11 months and not only do I have no light after dozens of broken promises, I also have NO REFUND after, yep you guessed it, many broken promises and failure to return my money. This is a scam, so if you’d like to also lose $400 and your mind at how anyone could possibly be so terrible at business, Huey Lightshop is the purchase for you! 

Ordered back in November '23 and have patiently waited since; it's February 16th, '24. Received a shipment notification on January 31st, '24 that a label had been created, still no shipment. 

Hands down one of the strangest e-commerce experiences I've had in a while. Save your time and find a comparably priced alternative with better fulfillment practices.

Update: March 5, 2024 - product still not shipped

Ordered lights in October - was told 10 weeks and it’s now going on 6 months. Today out of nowhere, order is cancelled. I can understand issues with materials, etc but how can a business POSSIBLY think it makes sense to continue launching new items when they can’t fulfill any orders or make any clients happy?! So frustrated and disappointed!!!!!

Being honest, especially about time frame, and not straight up lying. 

Ordered in July and still haven't received my item. 
We email weekly with them saying oh it will be sent out this week! I'll make sure of it and nothing. I think they wait a certain length of time so you can't get money back. 

Also the lamp cord of one I did get is like outrageously long. I have no clue why they would make a lamp cord this long 

I also have the mini prairie table lamp, and it's obviously made of ceramic which doesn't let any light through, so just something to keep in mind that they really only direct light in one direction

I love my huey lightshop sconces! People always compliment them on how cool they look, and you can't beat the price for the quality. My items arrived quickly and were installed with no issues. 

I couldn't be happier with the purchase!

The lights were cute but the communication with the shop was terrible. Don’t think the wait, the trouble was worth the lights. The delivery schedule got moved back five or six times with ever changing reasons or no explanation. 

6+ months of waiting. Excuse after excuse after excuse, sometimes the same excuse used again and again. When the item finally arrived it was basic.
