  • Close, comfortable shave performance
  • Weighty, ergonomic razor handle
  • Sophisticated, memorable body-wash fragrances
  • Effective extra-strength antiperspirant
  • Inconsistent blade sharpness quality
  • Occasional nicks and irritation
  • Lubrication strip gets gloopy
  • Blades may rust quickly

Harry’s earns largely positive reviews for close, comfortable shaves, sleek handles, and standout scents (Fig, Stone, Redwood), though blade sharpness and consistency divide users. Reviews praise the razors for sensitive skin and unisex use and laud the Extra-Strength Antiperspirant for reliable sweat control, but report issues like occasional nicks, quicker dulling or rust, itchy first use, a gloopy lubrication strip, and mixed results on closeness versus Gillette/Flamingo/Schick.

  • I’ve been a Harry’s subscriber for years. The only razors I will buy - quality made, shipped in a tiny box to save on waste, and reasonable price.

  • I purchased Harry's for my guy and one of my son-in-laws. I did try the razor to see how great it is. Loved it. It's also available for subscribing, which I do, for their convenience. The shave cream is smooth and has a fresh scent.

  • Tried a variety of Harry’s products. All good or very good, and, a great value. Will continue. Wish they would improve on the sharpness of their blades. Consistency of blade sharpness varies, too much (causing irritation for me).

  • I switched from female razors to Harry’s about a year ago and I am never going back.

  • My boyfriend and I both use Harry’s, it makes shaving so much easier! The shaving cream leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized. The razor was fantastic and took quite a while to dull. My only comment would be in the price, it gets a little pricey.

  • My husband really likes this razor He has been using this brand for over a year and it’s still the only one he buys It’s cheaper than Gillette but says they shave just as well If not better

  • I’m in the military and have to shave A LOT. I have been using dollar shave club for years, but recently decided to switch over to Harry’s. Harry’s Razors are without a doubt more quality, and leave my skin so much more smooth and a closer shave. If you’re deciding between the 2, Harry’s all day!

  • I have used so many different brands of razors which resulted in razor bumps or burn. I decided to try Harry’s after the last brand I purchased destroyed my skin. I’ve been using them for a month and I am beyond pleased with Harry’s razors. They leave my skin so smooth without cuts or bumps. As long as they don’t change their razors I am a customer for life.

  • Best razor I’ve used yet great value for money with a trial set send 8 razors every 3 months can’t recommend them enough sturdy razors with even better blades five star

  • Cheaper than other razors. Giving it 1 star only because, I cut myself a couple times. And I think I had a reaction to the shaving foam gel since my skin is a little pink now. I'll just stick to my electric razor.

  • This is a great brand. The packaging is fantastic and the products last a long time. Smells great, feels great and you'll always have a clean razor. We even ordered boxes for grown sons who no longer live at home. I recommend this quality razor and cream. You can order as needed without the subscription.

  • Overall a great selection of shaving product including shave balm with a super great smell, shaping blades and an very good smelling face wash solution. My husband is in love with these products and wont use any other.

  • I enjoyed Harry’s razors. I think it was a great deal for a really good price. I will continue to purchase from Harry’s!

  • Price to performance ratio on the blade cartridges is top notch. I’ve never felt inclined to use a blade past it’s lifespan for sake of running out due to their subscription service. Shave handle is comfortable with a weighty substance that feels secure in the hand. Shave gel is pretty no frills, but gets the job done.

  • Harry’s had incredibly good smelling shaving gel back in 2016. Razors also worked well and I immediately switched from my Schick razor kit. However, at some point Harry’s replaced the shaving cream to one that was bland and the razors were not as sharp —for sure! I now always have to repeat shaving passes to remove residual stuble, and such, which the razor keeps leaving behind. Thus I have switched back to my older Schick kit.

  • After years of buying expensive Mach 5 blades from Gillette I decided to give my wallet a break and Harry's a try. The online buying process was fine, the product looks good, the price is about 50% of Gillette's... BUT the blades don't cut well. I dry shaved with a brand new Harry's blade and I still could feel stubble. I followed with a 3-week old Gillette blade and got significant additional hair off my face. I repeated the test several times over the next few weeks, using water and shaving cream also. The Harry's blade doesn't do a very good job. On 2-3 day stubble it's downright painful. It doesn't cut when you go with the flow and if you go against the flow it catches and pulls. Really nasty! I have a coarse beard and tough skin. For me the razor does not work well at all.

  • In 2013 when I started using Harry’s it was the best thing ever invented. But somewhere in the past five years the blades dull quicker and leave me with razor burn. Plus the new formula shave cream sucks. Since they changed the cans it’s not the same formula. It’s almost like they sold out to someone.

  • The razor is great! The face wash is also one of my favorites.

  • I have two Harry’s products and recently I realized what an amazing deal they were. For the razors—when reaching in a drawer I realized that I still have replacement blades from a $20 razor set I got from Costco like 3 years ago. Literally. $20 bucks and I still have a totally functioning sharp razor with replacement blades The other product is their fig body wash which smells so high end and delicious. I think I got that recommendation from the Things I bought and Liked instagram account. However—it’s not very moisturizing body wash. More about the scent than the actual skincare properties.
