Harmless Harvest Reviews

4.6

Harmless Harvest earns strong reviews as a standout coconut water brand that tastes fresh, naturally sweet, and close to drinking from a real coconut, with many fans also praising its coconut yogurt and smoothies. Reviews flag two recurring drawbacks: frequent notes of high sweetness or occasional aftertaste for some palates, and persistent frustration with plastic packaging (and, secondarily, small bottle sizes).

  • I will start off by saying I love the coconut water but wanted to give some of the other products a try. I got the chocolate smoothie, it is unfortunately the only flavor that doesn't have natural flavor as an ingredient. Flavor wise, it tastes like a pudding cup thats less sweet. Its not a very think consistency, so definitely a drinkable snack. I would purchase again.

  • My favorite coconut water ever!!! I was never a huge fan of coconut, but this water is so fresh, crisp and subtle in flavor! The hydration helps me during summer months and when fasting. The sustainability piece absolutely justifies the price. I can’t imagine my life without it now.

  • Growing up in tropical places, I'm used to coconut water fresh from a coconut. Tried other brands in tetrapaks and did not enjoy them. Finally tried Harmless Harvest and it does not disappoint!

  • Ready for a Harmless Harvest review trilogy? I tried three different products, with varying degrees of enjoyment, so the overall rating is a blend of all three. The good: The peach "yogurt," which is primarily coconut milk, is amazingly tasty. In a side-by-side comparison with regular yogurt, you could taste a difference, but on its own I can't say I would have guessed it was not a milk-based product. There was certainly some coconutiness to it, but it blended wonderfully with the peach flavor. This one is highly recommended! 5/5 The bad: Their coconut water with pulp was just so-so. It had a bit of a pinkish-red tint, which I wasn't expecting, and the pulp chunks were intrusive and chewy. I found myself wishing I had a strainer to remove them. The no-sugar-added coconut water itself tasted fine, but given the somewhat high price point there are lots of other cheaper and just-as-flavorful/healthy alternatives. 2/5 The ugly: Don't walk, RUN from the Harmless Harvest coconut smoothie. It was among the worst-tasting coconut concoctions I have ever had. The texture was fine, but the taste was just this weird sort-of coconut, sort-of who-knows-what flavor, which is especially odd because it's essentially all coconut. This smoothie the first product I have reviewed on Thingtesting that I flat-out, hands-down, outright hated. 0/5
