It tasted like water down coffee to me, feels like it lives in this in-between world of coffee and tea when I personally would rather just have coffee or tea. I do have some friends who are real coffee heads but are searching for low acidic options and enjoy this however

There should be a trial offer to allow consumers the opportunity to try the coffee without getting set back a significant amount. Explore different bean and roasting methods to offer a greater range of natural coffee flavors.  

The concept of a light cold brew really appealed to me for those times when on Intermittent fasting and just need a pick-me-up. I love tea and I love all kinds of good coffee but I did not enjoy the flavor of this brew. It is hard to describe but it lacks the structure and flavor profile of coffee and was an unbalanced tea. I have tried Korean brews like Boricha and would highly recommend those forms of tea coffee flavors over Golden. One huge problem I had was how expensive the coffee was just to try it. To be frugal I went for the subscription pricing and ordered more to get the free shipping. That set me back about $40. I have two unopened boxes of this coffee that I will not drink. My wife doesn't like it either. Customer service will accept no returns for any reason. That shocked me. If you like roasted flavor notes you will not find them in this brew. If you like black or green tea you probably won't like the coffee flavor tones here. You might like it but I definitely think this one might satisfy a select group of drinkers.

No improvements needed, it's just not quite for me!

My friend actually started this company, but my unbiased take is that the flavor is unique but not something I would drink every day. The flavor is nutty and kind of thin (especially compared to the black coffee I usually drink). That said, the different flavors they have all taste great and add a nice set of variety! It was nice to try, but I'd rather just go with a black tea or coffee in most situations.

As a coffee lover I haven’t come across many cups that I couldn’t at least drink. I tried 4 ways to make the Golden Coffee and it tasted like fresh snapped green beans were steamed and the liquid left over was put in a cup and called coffee. 
The website states they do not accept returns, so anyone that buys and doesn’t like the coffee wastes $20 plus shipping?  Lesson learned, but I hope no one else has to learn that lesson the hard way. Perhaps offer a small sample for purchase so someone doesn’t have to dedicate to a full size bag and get stuck with it.
