Golden goose has had a varying reputation over the years. First people criticized them for looking “worn” and being intentionally distressed then the world got obsessed with them and now they are at equilibrium. The hype has died but people still wear them. There is good and bad. I find the ball star style to be particularly comfortable. The hidden wedge always makes these more flattering than other sneakers, they last a long time, and they don’t give that nerdy vibe a lot of other sneakers do. Overpriced? Probably. But they do have some redeeming qualities.
