Golden Goose reviews and discussion

Golden goose has had a varying reputation over the years. First people criticized them for looking “worn” and being intentionally distressed then the world got obsessed with them and now they are at equilibrium. The hype has died but people still wear them. There is good and bad. I find the ball star style to be particularly comfortable. The hidden wedge always makes these more flattering than other sneakers, they last a long time, and they don’t give that nerdy vibe a lot of other sneakers do. Overpriced? Probably. But they do have some redeeming qualities.

While a very controversial brand based on its aesthetic, I am obsessed with these shoes. As someone with flat feet and wears orthotics in their shoes I have found them very comfortable. I have multiple pairs of their sneaker, with my favorite being the Superstar style. I personally do not mind the dirty style as I am not afraid to wear them outside in fear that they will get dirty or that they will looked ruined if they come out of the box.
