Reviews mention

  • Compliment-magnet signature fragrance
  • Seamless, buildable cream blush
  • Natural, defining brow gel
  • Gentle, lightweight cleanser
  • Inconsistent shade inclusivity
  • Sheer, short-lasting formulas
  • Fragile, leaky packaging
  • Variable scent longevity

Glossier earns praise in reviews for effortless, no‑makeup makeup staples like Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, Lash Slick, and the universally complimented Glossier You fragrance, which many call a signature scent. However, reviewers flag inconsistent makeup payoff and longevity, polarizing skincare efficacy, packaging flaws (leaking body oil, cracking lipstick caps, messy Cloud Paint tubes), reformulation disappointments (Balm Dotcom, You perfume), limited shade range, and some products feeling sheer, basic, or short‑lasting.

  • I use almost exclusively Glossier products. I never felt good at or enjoyed applying makeup and Glossier made it easy and natural-looking.

    Feedback

I wish there were more sets with better discounts.

  • Used to be my favorite skincare brand but felt like it didn’t really do much for me…

  • I love glossier boy brow! And also love the packaging. I alway use the pink pouches for traveling.

    Feedback

I've had trouble using the skincare products and have found they lead to breakouts for me specifically.

  • I really want to be a Glossier fan — I love the look and followed the founder's blog — but the products don't feel suited for my skin type. I used Boy Brow, Perfecting Skin Tint, Wowder. I have no complaints about the Boy Brow, but I wouldn't say it was any better than similar brow products. I have combination/oily skin and I felt like the Skin Tint and Wowder made my face more oily by the end of the day.

It has been several years since I've used the products, and Glossier has extended its product line by a lot since then. Not sure if they offer more guidance on best products for skin types, but that would be my suggestion!

  • love some products, could live without others. i don't go to glossier for skincare except their lip balm (which is my favorite product - i have every flavor). their mascara is the perfect no-makeup mascara.

their skincare products don't give off efficacy to me

  • I have only tried the concealer and I must say I love it! I was not sure the brand was "for me" but I am glad I tried it.

  • Obsessed for years and so many hero products- boy brow, lash slick and the whole body hero range!

    More body products!

  • Absolutely love this brand. I don't wear a ton of makeup, and love to have a quick routine so Glossier products have been the perfect balance for me! I also feel like they have the right amount of innovation... they aren't launching a ton of mediocre products frequently, instead they're launching 1 great product every so often that they really have perfected. I appreciate that a lot! Also, there perfume scent is to die for and I will not be okay if it is ever discontinued. I buy it in everything I possibly can... the perfume, the lotion, the body wash. It smells so luxurious, and lasts all day. I can't tell you how many compliments I get when wearing it.

  • Very minimalistic. Fun products to choose from. Love the mascara ans blushes.

    Better ingredients in skincare.

  • A long time user of the Cloud Paint, I think that Glossier is making a nice little spot for themselves in the DTC space with makeup. I've recently started using the Future Dew, and (when not wearing a mask) it's fabulous. I'd love to see more eco-friendly packaging, but use the pink bubble pouches for travel until the seams come apart. The Boy Brow could use some improvement, but I'm particular, I think depending on your brows and how you style them, is still a strong choice.

  • TBH I think Glossier is cheap and over priced. I was a big fan for awhile, love their bow brow though, but I've since thrown out all of my things. Their makeup smelled off.

Improve scent and work on being clean

  • I've purchased a few of their products (exfoliating solution, balm dot com, green mask, and primer). Honestly, this is a beautiful and minimalistic beauty and skincare brand but I think it is overhyped. None of the products I purchased made a huge difference to my skin or makeup.

  • They do a couple of products I love - like cloud paint and balm dot com (birthday cake smells incredible!)

    Feedback

Not sure how sustainable to bubble wrap packaging is?! Appreciate its a key component of their branding, but perhaps you should let people opt out if they don’t need another pouch.

  • I tried a couple of products recently and have mixed reviews: -milky makeup remover: gentle on my skin and loved it! -liquid eyeshadow: Don't like it - it barely showed on my skin -Cloud paint: LOVE! so natural and good color -Pro Tip eyeliner: really great and long lasting! Easy to use. But the tip got damaged very easily...

    Feedback

The cap of the Pro Tip eyeliner damaged the brush/tip very easily! has made it very difficult to use the brush now.

  • Great products beaten only by their fantastic customer service. I feel like their products are well priced and feel really luxurious.

They should continue to innovate. They have great stuff but I want MORE!

  • I have a few products with glossier that I LOVE. Namely, the milky cleanser and brow gel. It's these that keep me coming back.

  • I have only ever used their eyebrow groomer called boy brow.It works perfectly and really keeps eyebrow groomed and tinted for hours and hours.

  • I am a big fan of glossier, every product I've tried I have loved. My personal favorite is the mascara and the liquid blush. They last forever for a great price!

  • I love their liquid blush, boy brow, and mascara. Quality products and relatively affordable. I also like that you can buy bundles of products.
