  • Effortless, natural makeup effect

  • Occasional packaging fragility
  • Sticky gloss, drying lipstick

Glossier impresses in reviews for delivering easy, natural-looking makeup—standouts include Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, Lash Slick, and the much‑praised Glossier You fragrance—while drawing criticism for ultra‑sheer coverage, inconsistent longevity, and packaging flaws. Reviews say the brand is good for “no‑makeup makeup” days and everyday scent, but skincare feels basic and shade range and recent reformulations (You, Balm Dotcom) disappoint some users.

  • The products are good, love the cloud paint. The perfume sample smelled ENTIRELY different than the big bottle, and I was super disappointed.

  • I never really understood the Glossier hype, and kept trying more of their products to see what everyone was raving about, but never really found a product that I loved. The cloud paint is a fun blush, but it's not my favorite. I did not like the eyeliner or milky jelly face wash that I tried from Glossier.

  • Some items are incredible--the milky jelly cleanser is so good. I also LOVE the solution toner. Others, like the eyeshadow are cheap and the formula separates quickly. I avoid all makeup products from Glossier and only use the skincare.

  • I was quite literally obsessed with all their products when they launched and have tried majority of their collection. After a few years I only repurchase a few things now which is the eye brow liner, and glossier you perfume (both still the best imo). The packaging of the lipsticks and eye products could be improved because they broke easily. I tried reaching out to their customer service a while back but they were asking me to file a police report etc. before they could assist and I personally would not spend that much time nor waste an officer's time for damaged makeup. Still love some of their products but no longer obsessed.

  • I am a long time member of the cult of Glossier, and they have some real gems (the perfume, the cloud paints, boy brow, the masks) and some not-worth-it-for-the-price stuff (balmdotcom… why that applicator for something everyone uses on their lips), all around you know you’re looking for minimal coverage and dewy natural skin when you’re buying glossier

  • The cutest blush. Leaves my skin feeling healthy and glowing. An absolute love❤️

  • in love with this brand! They make me feel so beautiful and so clean.

  • I love this brand and am so excited it's available at sephora! the skin tint is lightweight and natural looking, I also am a huge fan of the liquid eyeshadows

  • I find the products to be mediocre. My favorite product, the perfume, recently changed formulas and no longer smells the same. The solid perfume has little scent and was not worth my purchase.

  • I can only speak to the makeup. Aesthetic is definitely on point, but quality is lacking. Products seem to go bad prior to listed date on packaging so it’s just not worth the price to me.

  • I love the Generation G sheer matte lipstick in Crush, the buildable colour is great and you can also use it as a blusher if desired. I also mix it with a clear lipgloss for a night out which works well and saves having to have two products. The packaging and branding are also super for a gift.

  • Loved Glossier for a long while now. Have been using the cloud paints for YEARS and they never fail me. Tons of pigment, they look so natural, still some color left at the end of the day, and they honestly last forever. Also love, love, love the balm dot com. My fave lip balms for sure, although I have yet to try them since they recently changed the formula to vegan friendly.

  • I love Glossier’s clean makeup products. My favorite is their stretch concealer, it really works so well, especially as under the eye concealer.

  • I've been an avid glossier user for years at this point. To date, I've tried just about every product they have. For the people who like a no-makeup makeup, this is a great brand. The prices don't feel super outrageous and the products are super user friendly. My favorite products are futuredew, You, and Gen G. Future dew is an oil-serum hybrid, by I tend to use it as a first step in my makeup routine. It has a thicker texture, so it leaves my dry skin looking dewy for hours. Glossier You is a fan favorite at this point. When I was in college this was my signature fragrance. The price isn't too steep and it has such a unique, fresh skin scent. I don't wear it as much these days, but I still love it and struggle to find anything just like it. Probably my favorite and most worn Glossier products are the gen g lipsticks. I can't even count how many tubes of Like I've gone through at this point. I always felt that it was the perfect lip color for me and recently I've had friends tell me the same. I also love some other shades in the line such as cake and recent addition fuzz. It's my favorite lip formula and I've had no luck finding anything that would replace it. I do really like their "skin first" approach to makeup, however, I'm not a huge fan of their skincare. I haven't tried it since they joined Sephora, so maybe things have changed, but I found it to be too fragranced for me. I have sensitive eyes and the priming moisturizer would make them burn so bad. I think stick to the makeup or the body care if you're going with glossier!

  • First purchased cloud paint, which I loved. Then bought their stretch concealer, it was alright, definitely creased for me if I didn’t exactly prep my skin correctly. Loved the perfume, but I heard they changed the formula? That’s unfortunate. Overall, a decent brand with cute aesthetics and approachable (but definitely not super affordable) prices.

  • I love this brand for the lotions! The concealer, I noticed kind of fell off a little as the day went on, but the lid star and their lip balms I still use, and I love.

  • The glossier you perfume is my new fav! Literally so luxurious smelling

  • I love the idea behind the brand. They have created a look and feel that is unique to them. The stores are unlike any others with how attentive the workers are and how minimal it is. I would give them 5 stars but they have changed the formula of their lip balm which is what they are most known for. The new formula is greasy and does not work as well. I would not buy it again but had regularly bought the old formula lip balm

  • Super cute and fun products. I specifically love the balm dot com for their wonderful flavors. Not the highest quality product, but yet I still keep coming back for more.

  • I was a diehard glossier fan when they first became a brand! I loved their products. My skin reacted poorly to a few items, but only subtly. I think in the last few years their product quality has shifted a bit as they have grown but I would still recommend their milky cleanser as it’s gentle, safe, and effective!
