Glossier earns praise in reviews for effortless, no‑makeup makeup staples like Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, Lash Slick, and the universally complimented Glossier You fragrance, which many call a signature scent. However, reviewers flag inconsistent makeup payoff and longevity, polarizing skincare efficacy, packaging flaws (leaking body oil, cracking lipstick caps, messy Cloud Paint tubes), reformulation disappointments (Balm Dotcom, You perfume), limited shade range, and some products feeling sheer, basic, or short‑lasting.

I love the Generation G sheer matte lipstick in Crush, the buildable colour is great and you can also use it as a blusher if desired. I also mix it with a clear lipgloss for a night out which works well and saves having to have two products. The packaging and branding are also super for a gift.
Loved Glossier for a long while now. Have been using the cloud paints for YEARS and they never fail me. Tons of pigment, they look so natural, still some color left at the end of the day, and they honestly last forever. Also love, love, love the balm dot com. My fave lip balms for sure, although I have yet to try them since they recently changed the formula to vegan friendly.
I love Glossier’s clean makeup products. My favorite is their stretch concealer, it really works so well, especially as under the eye concealer.
I've been an avid glossier user for years at this point. To date, I've tried just about every product they have. For the people who like a no-makeup makeup, this is a great brand. The prices don't feel super outrageous and the products are super user friendly. My favorite products are futuredew, You, and Gen G. Future dew is an oil-serum hybrid, by I tend to use it as a first step in my makeup routine. It has a thicker texture, so it leaves my dry skin looking dewy for hours. Glossier You is a fan favorite at this point. When I was in college this was my signature fragrance. The price isn't too steep and it has such a unique, fresh skin scent. I don't wear it as much these days, but I still love it and struggle to find anything just like it. Probably my favorite and most worn Glossier products are the gen g lipsticks. I can't even count how many tubes of Like I've gone through at this point. I always felt that it was the perfect lip color for me and recently I've had friends tell me the same. I also love some other shades in the line such as cake and recent addition fuzz. It's my favorite lip formula and I've had no luck finding anything that would replace it. I do really like their "skin first" approach to makeup, however, I'm not a huge fan of their skincare. I haven't tried it since they joined Sephora, so maybe things have changed, but I found it to be too fragranced for me. I have sensitive eyes and the priming moisturizer would make them burn so bad. I think stick to the makeup or the body care if you're going with glossier!
First purchased cloud paint, which I loved. Then bought their stretch concealer, it was alright, definitely creased for me if I didn’t exactly prep my skin correctly. Loved the perfume, but I heard they changed the formula? That’s unfortunate. Overall, a decent brand with cute aesthetics and approachable (but definitely not super affordable) prices.
I love this brand for the lotions! The concealer, I noticed kind of fell off a little as the day went on, but the lid star and their lip balms I still use, and I love.
The glossier you perfume is my new fav! Literally so luxurious smelling
I love the idea behind the brand. They have created a look and feel that is unique to them. The stores are unlike any others with how attentive the workers are and how minimal it is. I would give them 5 stars but they have changed the formula of their lip balm which is what they are most known for. The new formula is greasy and does not work as well. I would not buy it again but had regularly bought the old formula lip balm
Super cute and fun products. I specifically love the balm dot com for their wonderful flavors. Not the highest quality product, but yet I still keep coming back for more.
I was a diehard glossier fan when they first became a brand! I loved their products. My skin reacted poorly to a few items, but only subtly. I think in the last few years their product quality has shifted a bit as they have grown but I would still recommend their milky cleanser as it’s gentle, safe, and effective!
Their makeup products are super fun and easy to use. I would get it for the packaging but I feel that ELF does a better job for the price point. I would not recommend the skincare, I don’t have sensitive skin and don’t suffer from breakouts, but their skincare products made me breakout.
Love the aesthetic of products, while I haven’t tried the makeup I absolutely adore their perfume. My only complaint is that the scent does fade fairly quickly so it’s best to layer their solid perfume and spray for a longer lasting scent.
I have been a Glossier fan since day one. I've tried nearly every product they offer, but what keeps me coming back for more is the You perfume (which I get compliments on every single time I wear it!), the blushes, and Balm Dot Com, which comes in a ton of yummy scents and also makes a great small gift. I've also had to return shades or products that didn't work for me in the past and their customer service is top notch - speedy response time and a very easy return/refund process.

Wasn't as impressed with this brand as everyone hyped it up.
Love Glossier! I've been using their products since the early days, and have tried a lot of their products over the years. My favorite is probably Lash Slick, the mascara. It offers length, lift, and color but is so natural looking. Other standbys include the Skin Tint and Balm Dot Com. I also just bought one of the new lip creams that I'm excited about. They also have great customer service, always very prompt and friendly, and the return policy is extremely generous. Def recommend!
I have been firmly set on the Glossier bandwagon since about 2015 and swear by a lot of their products (haloscope, cloud paint, future dew). However in recent months they’ve been starting to lose me because they are consistently dropping limited edition/ exclusive merch. And though it’s cute, it’s like, I can only use so many hoodies and makeup bags from the same brand. I really wish they would focus more on expanding their range on complexion products rather than launch more and more lip products.
I have to say that while I love the look of the whole brand, the packaging for the Cloud Paint blush makes no sense. It disperses too much most of the time and will spurt blush onto things around or your clothing.Loved the blendability back in 2018, but nowadays, there is better blush on the market. Similarly, the Boy Brow and mascara do not stand out in today's makeup market.
love the blush shades!
I love Glossier's packaging and whole aesthetic. Their Glossier You perfume is my favorite everyday perfume because its fragrance is very clean and light. All my friends love it as much as I do!
I love how simple and universal their products are. They are my go-to when it comes to a quick and easy make-up routine. I always feel like their products enhance my natural beauty, without over doing it, and it never feels like I’m wearing makeup. It’s so lightweight and breathable. I recently bought their perfume, and it’s such a beautiful scent. I also love that they are vegan and sustainable. Overall they are what I look for in a skincare and makeup brand.
