Reviews mention

  • Effortless, natural makeup effect
  • Beloved, compliment‑magnet fragrance
  • Lightweight, comfortable textures
  • Iconic, chic packaging
  • Sheer, low‑coverage bases
  • Inconsistent scent longevity
  • Occasional packaging fragility
  • Sticky gloss, drying lipstick

Glossier impresses in reviews for delivering easy, natural-looking makeup—standouts include Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, Lash Slick, and the much‑praised Glossier You fragrance—while drawing criticism for ultra‑sheer coverage, inconsistent longevity, and packaging flaws. Reviews say the brand is good for “no‑makeup makeup” days and everyday scent, but skincare feels basic and shade range and recent reformulations (You, Balm Dotcom) disappoint some users.

  • Glossier balm dotcom is my go to lippie! I'm in love with the You perfume, I get compliments everywhere I go. Packaging is SO beautiful!!!

  • I think they reformulated a lot of their products, and unfortunately I am not as happy with them as I was before the reformulation. Glossier You perfume doesn’t smell the same on my skin, and my Balm dot com keeps separating into the waxy and oily components. Huge bummer because i was so in love with Glossier products in the past!

  • Absolutely love Glossier products. I have oily skin and use the Cleansing Concentrate and the oil control moisturizer; I also LOVE their Ultralip and their mascara, which does not do any smudging or transfer. Very loyal to this brand

  • I LOVE GLOSSIER. they are definitely one of my favorite makeup and skincare brands. not only are their products good but they also have very cute aesthetic packaging.

  • I absolutely love glossier. Their perfume is my absolute favorite.

  • Great products!!! Weightless feel! Nice packaging!

  • My daughter and I LOVE this brand. We just bought the birthday cake lip balm! Obsessed!!!!!

  • This is a good brand for having a more natural look. They call it minimalistic beauty, and that is spot on for sure. Even the darker shades look very natural on my very fair skin. I don't know that I would call them shade inclusive though. They are very environmentally friendly as far as packaging and great for travel, which I love. They are great for a very basic makeup kit for just a quick day out.

  • I love the simplicity of products. I will say they don’t do a lot for the people who want to conceal and hide entire blemishes or marks. The cloud paint is highly pigmented and easy to use. The packaging does squeeze out way too much. It feels wasteful. My favorite is the glossier you perfume. It goes well with every season and smells slightly different on each person.

  • The Glossier Generation G Sheer Matte Lipstick in Cake is the perfect peachy nude color to wear all year. This color looks natural on me and my skin tone. It has a comfortable matte formula which it also very buildable. Cake has a great color pay off for the wash of color for the lips. I feel effortlessly done when I wear this lipstick. Very light vanilla scent. The packaging is minimalistic and sleek at the same time. Great for travel in your purse or makeup pouch. Very high quality and highly recommend. This lipstick is for someone who enjoys a tint on the lips without desire for full opaque.

  • Glossier is hit or miss depending on the products - but the hits are truly hits. best products - Lash Slick, Glossier You, Skin Tint, Boy Brow. I’ve tried almost everything else and haven’t been wowed.

  • I love glossier! I love all of the advertising/marketing and the packaging and the products. Hair care is the only suggestion or request that I wanted to comment on. Thank you

  • I'm a fan of many of Glossier's products, but wouldn't recommend them all – in terms of amount, price, and ingredients, I find their skincare to be lacking and mostly focused on making a cute shelfie. But if you like simple, nicely packaged, low-effort makeup, there's a lot to try! Keep in mind that their products are VERY much for a no-makeup-makeup look, so only go for this brand if you want something natural. My favorite of their products is the Cloud Paint, a liquid blush. One tube will last you years and it's very buildable with a nice shade range. I also love the Haloscope, my go-to highlighter for everyday wear as it's very creamy, easy to blend, and not overly glittery. The Balm Dotcom is a classic for a reason – very nice-smelling and a lot more hydrating than I expected! I'm a fan of the stretch concealer as well, but again, with products like foundations and concealers, Glossier is going to give you a VERY natural look, so isn't good for anyone wanting considerable coverage. I also wouldn't recommend for anyone particularly sweaty or oily as their products are usually very creamy and so might not stay as well on these skin types. Overall, I'd definitely recommend trying a few of their mainstay makeup products!

  • I love all Glossier products I've tried. Everything feels clean and fresh. The packaging is always beautiful and my face has never looked better. The Jelly Cleanser is the best and I live on balm dotcom.
