Reviews mention

  • Effortless, natural makeup effect
  • Beloved, compliment‑magnet fragrance
  • Lightweight, comfortable textures
  • Iconic, chic packaging
  • Sheer, low‑coverage bases
  • Inconsistent scent longevity
  • Occasional packaging fragility
  • Sticky gloss, drying lipstick

Glossier impresses in reviews for delivering easy, natural-looking makeup—standouts include Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, Lash Slick, and the much‑praised Glossier You fragrance—while drawing criticism for ultra‑sheer coverage, inconsistent longevity, and packaging flaws. Reviews say the brand is good for “no‑makeup makeup” days and everyday scent, but skincare feels basic and shade range and recent reformulations (You, Balm Dotcom) disappoint some users.

  • liked the balm dot com much more before the recipe and design change, but still is amazing!

  • I was an into the gloss reader before glossier became a brand. I’ve been a huge fan since its inception. The ethos behind it, the aesthetics, the products and the overall vibe has always resonated with me. I have tried almost everything and it’s not all winners but what they do have some exceptional products that you can’t really find anywhere else. My favorites are: Lash Slick, Stretch Concealer, Glossier You (perfume and deodorant).

  • Glossier is a beautiful product and iconic brand. The stores as well as the products have a clean and fresh esthetic. I love the blushes because the pigments are bright yet sheer enough to let your skin show thru. The lip glosses are a bit sticky for my liking but smell amazing!!

  • Tried their products couple of years ago, they haven’t seemed to expand their product range much. I think they have some good products also nothing special. I do like the cloud tint, gives a very natural look.

  • I love their liquid eyeshadow and mascara - definitely my go-to!

  • Awesome product awesome brand

  • obsessed with the stretch concealer!! a definite staple for me, however I don't feel like the balms are worth it anymore especially after the formula change.

  • Really love the cool and effortless aesthetic of this brand. Plus, the boy brow and the cloud paint have such nice nuanced colors and great, spreadable formulas.

  • I like the Glossier for their Cleanser Concentrate. It is a really powerful cleanser and a bottle lasts me a long time. It's a little too drying for me to use in Winter, but I really like it in the summer. I usually also order a set of 3 balm dot com lip balms. They all smell nice, but my favorite is rose!

  • My favorite Glossier product is You perfume. I have it in spray, solid and a hand lotion. All are amazing! The You scent smells like a cozy sweater feels. I’ve also tried Cloud Paint (which was fine but not amazing), their exfoliating bar soap (meh), and balm dotcom (greasy and did not absorb too well).

  • Listen, this makeup line is for middle schoolers just trying makeup for the first time and have no need for actual performance. For that it’s perfect, honestly. With the exception of the boybrow which is 10/10 and the perfume which smells divine but doesn’t last. The mascara is an actual disgrace like idk if it was a toy or what but I didn’t think it deposited any mascara on my lashes. The cloud paint is low key messy, and I feel like it’s no different than any other liquid blush from any drugstore. The haloscope. No. It’s like coconut oil based or something so when you apply it, it takes off your make up underneath. The balm dot com. Absolutely not. Literally rosebud salve in a tube aka scented Vaseline.

  • Love glossier products!

  • I have been using the balm dotcom for a couple of years now and the product never fails me. I ordered one recently and the specific balm I received was not up to Glossier's standard, so I emailed their customer services and they were extremely helpful in sending me a new product. The new one I received is much better. Great customer service!

Received a free product from Glossier
  • I think they really innovated at first... but now there are are many brands that go further, do more, better. Product is good. Nothing wow, but all good. Just doesn't last too long (boy brow, concealer or cloud paint. It fades off your face in a few hours. Brand feels a bit too Girl Boss for my liking. Skincare stuff, not that great. Serums didn't do anything for me, masks and creams felt very average. You can get better from a good pharmacy (ex. Avene or LaRoche Posay...)

  • I think this is a fine mid-level makeup brand, but I do find that some of the products are a bit overpriced for the quantity and quality. I've definitely used better products for my eyebrows in terms of staying power, but it was fine.

  • Bought concealer, foundation and brown pencil. Concealer is full coverage and last most of the day. The foundation is thin and I find it only lasting a few hours even less when it’s hot. But when I realised the brow pencil was the wrong colour they gave me a full refund and quick customer service.

  • I got the foundation. Was very liquidy and ashy after wear. Not too impressed

  • I love Glossier as a brand, their skincare products are non-irritating on my sensitive skin. They help to keep it moisturized through the dry season. I wear the Glossier You Eau de Parfum daily, its one of my favorite scents for summer lasting long through the heat and sweat.

  • I've ONLY tried their makeup so cannot speak on behalf of their skincare, but their makeup is my fav. I'm all about the sheer, natural, glowy look and their products are amazing for that. My fav is their Ultralip -- it's literally the best lipstick / gloss!

  • The brand is utterly style over substance. Beautiful packing for lackluster products, there exists a cheaper and better version for everything they sell.
