Girlfriend Collective earns largely positive reviews for durable, size‑inclusive activewear with rich colors, supportive Paloma and Tommy bras, and long‑lasting OG/compressive leggings; many say the brand is good and pieces hold up for years. • I LOVE Girlfriend Collective! 🤩 I own a few pairs of their leggings as well as a couple of tanks and when I tell you that I’m absolutely obsessed… I mean it. Firstly, they’re VERY size inclusive!! The ultralight FLOAT leggings in particular are my favorite and it feels like nothing. So comfortable and still so high quality. I love wearing these for a variety of occasions. Most recently I wore my leggings for a trip to Disney World and they were fantastic, even in the Florida heat. Coming from someone who struggles with sensory issues, it is a high compliment to say that I don’t even notice them when they’re on!

The price point is a little steep and their products are often sold out but otherwise I have absolutely no complaints

  • I have been a loyal Girlfriend Collective customer since the very beginning, when they offered free leggings to their first customers. I was lucky enough to snag a pair and I was instantly hooked. The leggings are incredibly soft and comfortable, and they fit perfectly. I love that they are made from recycled bottles, and it makes me feel good knowing that I'm doing my part to help the environment. I now have five pairs of Girlfriend Collective leggings, including the cute periwinkle color that I recently purchased. I wear them all the time and I always get compliments on them. They are definitely my go-to leggings, and I don't think I'll ever switch to another brand.

  • I love the brand's mission and the wide variety of products. I have a pair of their leggings, and they feel pretty good quality. I like how high-waisted they are and they've been pretty long-lasting so far. The texture of the leggings isn't my favorite - it's sort of a slick texture. But the comfort and fit is great!

  • I’m a forever fan of GC! Sustainable fashion that hugs all the right places, inclusive sizing, approachable models, and they’re PULLING WATER BOTTLES OUT OF LANDFILLS? My word. Sign me up for three more of the most supportive sports bras these DDDs have ever experienced.

The care of their leggings took a little time to get used to, but now it’s a breeze.

  • Love the ethos and inclusive branding of Girlfriend leggings. Been a longtime customer - receiving a free pair during their viral marketing launch. Only reason for not being five stars is occasionally the fabric is too thick to really be helpful for active wear or their thinner fabric pills quickly. Otherwise, their bras and skorts are brilliant.

  • The one activewear brand I buy from consistently. Love the quality of their activewear as well as their regular clothing items. A lot of pieces work as everyday outfits. The fleece half-zip and bomber actually keep me warm in winter (nothing else has really worked, even with several layers) and the Float fabric feels super soft and comfortable. This brand also wins on diversity. Love that they showcase the products in a wide variety of sizes and body shapes, as well as models that are diverse across age, race, and gender. Their reward program is also great! You can get to the top levels pretty fast (in my experience, at least) and earn a decent amount of $ off toward later purchases.

  • My favorite products have been the compressive leggings and the cropped sweatshirt by far - the fits are honestly so amazing and fit my body so well. I love the sweatshirt, it's the perfect crop length and color. And the compressive leggings are fantastic and stand up well two years later. I also like the sports bras - nothing particularly incredible to write home about but they do the job! I've gotten the float leggings, their first swimsuit launch, and most recently another pair of compressive leggings in the color Brick. I would say on these two leggings, the color is lighter and BOY you can see every underwear line if you don't cover up your behind. My first pair of leggings is black so I don't usually run into this problem. The swimsuit was really cute but not great if you like a cheeky bottom fit (they didn't have more coverage at the time I ordered). There were also no cups up top which, personally not my style but I get why people like that! Overall, some products are a hit, some are a miss. They take a lot of feedback in stride and do make product improvements, and try to address customer concerns. Shipping takes a while but I think for the quality and care, it's worth it.

Price is getting a bit high, wish the lighter colors weren't so...revealing? And I haven't tried the swimsuit relaunch but I hope it addresses some of those issues mentioned above!

  • -Have ordered a few tops and love my lightweight windbreaker -Appreciate the diversity and body inclusive representation in their marketing

  • Great quality leggings and really awesome marketing behind the brand. The clothing holds up really well, I still have a pair from when the brand launched and they're in almost perfect condition.

Runs true to size, but make sure when purchasing you buy a pair for working out and then a separate pair for lounging. This will help with the quality and keeping the lounge pair in good condition.

  • The fabric is really soft and durable. I've had a pair of their leggings for years and they last really well. Good construction and love that they are sustainable. They're on the warmer side for leggings which to me is good for everyday use but maybe less ideal for things like hot yoga.

  • The sets are cute and come in fun colors. However, the material doesn’t allow as much flexibility and movement as Lululemon. It is squat and sweat proof

  • Great fabric and styles. Also, excellent customer service. One of the few activewear brands that I feel good supporting since they are ethically made and sustainable! I appreciate that they release their environmental reports so that I know they're not greenwashing

  • Not only are they size inclusive with a wide range of products, they’re also not shy about using a diverse range of models. Also their yoga pants are very high quality and last a long time.

Definitely buy one and see if you like it. It’s a bit pricey so maybe wait for a sale, but you do get your money’s worth.

  • love their mission for sustainability and the brand's overall transparency. i think they make a great product! once upon a time, i really swore by and raved about their sports bras and leggings. tried the first round of swimwear, which was a disappointment. i still wear the paloma bra daily (which has held up ~4 years now)! leggings have a good amount of compression and breathability/moisture-wicking properties and beautiful selection of colors. i also have their skort and regularly get questions/compliments on it! customer service has also been helpful whenever i had issues or with returns/exchanges.

leggings def require no-show underwear for me. i still nip through the bras, but that doesn't bother me. sometimes the bottom strap around the bras can be visible as well. have the white tommy bra (beautiful fit) that got stained and doesn't wash out, just fyi! first round of swimwear didn't have the best fit and was too thin for appropriate coverage, though i haven't tried the improved/reworked version.

  • Obsessed with both of my Girlfriend Collective leggings, the fit is great and so is the color. The bra is cute as well, although I think I bought the wrong size. I love the ethos of brand as well, makes me happy to work out in these!

  • Great packaging, design, and mission. Soft and buttery materials. CX driven with sustainability at the forefront!

I ordered a fun workout top that was the perfect amount of thickness/support. Sadly I didn't like the fit of the skirt I bought.

  • These are super high quality leggings, especially for the price. And I love that they are made from sustainable materials! Wash well, are super comfortable and hold their shape.

    Great product

  • I got a skirt from Girlfriend Collective and it was such nice quality that I immediately told one of my workout friends to get one. It just feels like someone really thought with intention about the wearability of each piece and I really appreciate that every time I wear it.

  • One of my all time favorites. Love the high waisted leggings with pockets. Amazing colors. Stuff goes on sale regularly. Keep it up over there! Only meh thing I’ve gotten was a nursing bra with clips. The clips were under some fabric so that they wouldn’t scratch you, I guess?, but that made them very hard to access, which is like nursing 101 — boob must be easily accessible. The crossover nursing bra was great and I still wear that one post nursing.

  • I buy all of my essentials with Girlfriend Collective - underwear, socks, leggings, the list goes on. They are size inclusive, eco friendly, and have a great rewards program that keeps me coming back. Plus, the quality and wear is superior to other similar lounge and athleisure brands.

    Feedback

My only constructive feedback is the compressed styles are far less stretchy and forgiving than other workout wear. But luckily, I've found the styles with more stretch like luxe.
