Girlfriend Collective earns largely positive reviews for durable, size‑inclusive activewear with rich colors, supportive Paloma and Tommy bras, and long‑lasting OG/compressive leggings; many say the brand is good and pieces hold up for years. Reviews also flag weaknesses: inconsistent sizing, leggings that can run thick, slide down, or pill/lose shape over time, variable quality across lines, and some styles lacking breathability or support.

Super comfy and love their mission! I have had some trouble with their leggings loosening over time, but perhaps a sizing issue?
I love GF Collective's colors, and I love the shape of the Paloma sports bra. The material is a bit stiff, but I guess that's the price you pay for recycled material products. There's some extra fabric in the crotch area, but maybe that would be fixed by sizing down.
Love !
My rating has positive to do with their actual product and construction and a little lower because of their range of fabric offering. As someone sensitive to some textures, I found I wasn’t being as active BECAUSE of my activewear (all GF Collective)— the synthetic materials don’t feel good on my skin and I realized I only feel unhindered with cotton or bamboo blend clothing. I love GF Collective as a brand and hope they find a place in their lineup to offer recycled cotton or plant fibers in the future. One other note— I have a flatter chest and found their bra sizes to run small

I've owned two pairs of their leggings in navy and black. I like the way they look, but they don't have a ton of stretch to them, and aren't that great to work out in after a while.

I love love love the size inclusivity, but the material is so dang thin! I’m a yoga teacher and can’t teach or flow in these sets because they just show everything underneath and aren’t sweat proof at all.
I’ve had these leggings since 2017 and they’ve held up! They’re great quality and super flattering.
i have a couple tops and bottoms from girlfrien collective. i think the material is great and so is there mission statement. i have had some issues with sizing where it isn't consistent across each item but that hasn't stopped me from buying more of their stuff. love it!

Great quality, great design, great brand… Can’t complain
Love the concept and mission but unfortunately the clothes aren't very stretchy / comfortable. I find I don't often reach for my biker shorts because of that
Love their matching sets. I purchased their turquoise matching skirt and top a while back and I must say, it's one of my favorite outfits in my wardrobe. I can wear it out hiking, getting coffee, dog walking, and at yoga and Zumba. Love!!

These leggings perform well, but the price is a little high.
I’ve only bought a pair of leggings from Girlfriend Collective, but they fit slightly weird. They were on the tighter side, so it might be a personal preference. The waistband didn’t feel secure enough to me
I was one of the original supporters of GC and I haven't wavered since. Their mission is entirely admirable and the quality of their products speaks for themselves! Their leggings are so thick and have great compression, and I love their longline sports bras. I've recently gotten into their dresses and they're just the cutest outfit on the go!
LOVE this brand - the mission, the customer service, the products are all top tier. Have been following since the early days, circa 2016, when their marketing campaign was "free pair of leggings, just pay for shipping". Solid prices, quality pieces and an awesome sustainability focused mission- what more could you want? The classic leggings are my absolute favorite. Supportive (read: suck you in), but still incredibly comfy. Beathable and quick drying, but a little thicker than other alternatives without overheating. Above all - high quality, have lasted for YEARS while holding the same shape, AND you can wash and dry them without much special treatment. The sizing feels a little wonky depending on the product. I've been very happy with a size Small for regular leggings... but had one pair (capri length in coclor saguaro) that feels and looks WAY smaller. The ribbed fabric felt tighter too so I sized up for one of those and ended up regretting that as they never quite bouced back to the original fit (too large). Sports bras are my next fav - the paloma racerback is an absolute staple in my wardrobe. Loved it so much that I went for the paloma dress in a few colors too. Some of the other sports bra cuts dont feel like there is enough covergae - I'm a 34C which is a pretty middle of the road size, so not sure how others feel about that (maybe I should be getting a large, not a medium?). Other items I've tried: - Reset joggers: so comfy, feel like modal cotton, my go to lounge pants when its medium temps out - Sweatpants + cropped sweatshirt - comfy, warm, good quality but run kind of small. - Cropped high neck tank : a quality basic, but would only buy on sale - Bike Shorts - hard for me to find the right size on these. Bought in medium and small, felt like they fit tighter than the leggings in the waist, but the medium was too loose in the crotch and butt area. Didnt work for me but my friends love - Trail Shorts - looove these, had the best long liner that made them awesome for hiking - Running Shorts - HATED the liner that felt like a diaper, gave these away -Skort - love these for golf/running errands - wish that the seam on the stomach was not as visible
I LOVE this brand! I have several pieces from them and their sizing is always easy to follow. I've had a few of their Paloma sports bras for years and they've really held up. I find myself reaching for those most often. I recently purchased an activity dress from them as well as based the size off the size of the sports bra I have and it fits perfectly. They're so size-inclusive, their assortment is great, and the quality is fantastic. Shipping can be a bit slow, but it's worth the wait.
I was tired of walking around being an Alo or Lulu girl and feeling basic. I feel like girlfriend collective is the only brand making high-quality activewear that has ZERO branding on it. This was the main selling point for me. I do lots of hot yoga and I love the paloma bras- they are super supportive and have enough coverage that they can be worn before/after class casually. I'm also a huge fan of the ribbed set- the vertical lines are super flattering.
The fabric isn’t my favorite for the leggings and activewear - it feels a little stiff and not super soft or conforming. I returned a few items I ordered, and received free leggings with my order that I never reach for. I do appreciate the wide size range, fun styles and cute colors!
These leggings have been my favorite since I first tried them when the company first dropped these years ago. They have support and compression but are still super comfortable. They’re also extremely well made—I still have the original pair I bought years and years ago and they’re in great condition.
I love girlfriends program they are trying to be a responsible athletic wear company. With breaking down plastics into fabrics and they have a Regirlfriend (uses old girlfriend products into new girlfriend) & girlfriend to girlfriend like swapping clothes with your girls! Love the fabric and feel of their products. I love the inclusivity of their models as well! ❤️
