GIR offers a full line of kitchen tools featuring simple, easy-to-use designs.

Elevated kitchen tools for everyday use.

GIR’s brilliantly engineered kitchen tools redefine what it means to get it right in the kitchen. Made from 100% platinum-cured, pharmaceutical-grade silicone, GIR tools are non-toxic, antimicrobial, and BPA- and BPS-free. Home chefs and pros alike love the easy to clean, unique unibody designs and variety of colors that make GIR tools the heart of any kitchen.

For Samantha Rose, the idea for GIR started with a simple spatula…or more accurately, with her drawer full of spatulas. For a tool that’s so simple yet so important to any cook’s toolkit, she felt let down by every model she tried. She knew that to get it right, she would have to design her own. A 2012 Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign helped her pursue the GIR mission and bring our original spatula to life.

GIR joined the Pattern Family of Brands in 2021.

Kitchen & Dining

GIR earns strong reviews for durable, heat-resistant silicone utensils that feel sturdy, clean easily, protect nonstick cookware, and come in vibrant colors; yes, the brand works, with standouts like the Ultimate Spatula, Spoonula, whisks, baking mats, and collapsible colander. Weaknesses include occasional staining, a thicker spatula edge that lacks precision, tongs with rough plastic ends and flimsy lock, and rare tip breakage or dishwasher residue on lighter pieces.

I love GIR kitchen tools! The different colors makes my kitchen more joyful. The hard silicone feels good in my hands. I have good control using the spatula. I also like that they are dishwasher safe!
