  • Chic, luxurious packaging
  • Complex, bitter flavor profile
  • Versatile mixing options
  • Convenient, tasty canned spritzes
  • Punishingly bitter aftertaste
  • Murky, cloudy appearance
  • Short post‑open shelf life
  • Inconsistent flavor distinctness

Ghia earns polarized reviews yet proves effective for bitter, botanical non‑alcoholic sipping; many praise its complex, Campari‑adjacent flavor, chic packaging, and canned Le Spritz (especially Ginger and Lime & Salt) for recreating a cocktail ritual, while others find the taste punishingly bitter, murky, or one‑note and say it works better mixed. Reviews also note standout unboxing and gifting appeal but call out inconsistencies across flavors, short shelf life once opened, and sediment/cloudiness in the bottle.

  • Ghia is the greatest thing to ever happen to both N/A and alcoholic beverages. About a year ago, I became allergic to hops which was devastating less for the love of alcohol and more for the love of hops themselves in the various complexities they provide beers. I've since drunk more non-alcoholic than alcoholic beverages as there are far too many overly sweet non-beer options and I don't feel the need to involve alcohol by default. I enjoyed hops, including hop waters and hop teas because of the bitter and earthy tones, and have been searching for the same experience without forcing alcohol into the situation ever since. Ghia has since been the most rewarding beverage on the market and even if my hop aversion disappeared tomorrow, I would still pick a Ghia Spritz over any beer when given the option. I truly believe that this beverage has the power to make a greater impact on how we as a society consider the purpose of drinking. It has made me realize how little the desire for alcohol has played into my life, personally, and how it's more about the visceral experience of having something complex and mature in hand. The flavor profiles Ghia has designed don't mimic another beverage or pretend to represent a spirit that is already on the market, rather it has charted its own path to reimagine a universal pastime.

  • Ghia is absolutely worth all of the hype. Sure, it’s a little pricey, but I love it for nights where I want something fun and don’t want to drink. Definitely for fans of drinks that err on the bitter side, think Negronis.

  • Hands down the best out there. An immediate transport to Europe. Chic and natural - thoughtful down to every last detail.

  • The cans are perfectly bitter and bubbly. The bottled concentrate tastes great on its own or with a seltzer.

  • My favorite non-alcoholic aperitif in the game. I've been enjoying Ghia since they launched and it's become a staple in our house hold as the sun starts to set.

  • I really like the bitterness of it. Branding is so cute & ingredients are too good. Big fan!

  • I love it but my partner doesn't. So I have to do the average. I think you should definitely try it and get your own opinion of this brand.

  • Beautiful packing, interesting flavor options and great marketing overall. The tasting experience wasn't my favorite -- I felt like I was left with a weird aftertaste. Non-Alcoholic is tricky because what is going to make me pick this up vs a alcoholic beverage? Usually I look for a great, satisfying flavor, or a mood/health benefit, or even sometimes something that tastes like alcohol.. but isn't.

  • Love the branding and how design forward the brand is! I tried the lime and salt soda. Definitely on the pricier side but it was GOOD.

  • of all the alc-free cocktails I’ve tried, this is my favorite. it’s the perfect amount of tang/bitterness/sweetness. just wish it was a little cheaper!

  • I really wanted to like this og ginger drink because I followed the brand on social media. I found it at sweet green and thought it would go well with my grain bowl.It was a small can with intense flavors I have never had anything like that before. With high hopes, I am reminded that they are not all winners. I was sad I did not like this pungant, sour weird drink. Maybe I am not a tonic person but I just did not get it.Ghia had a weird after taste. It was the first time in a long time that I could not finish a drink. I felt bad throwing out 4$ maybe next time I'd try another flavor.

  • My monthly subscription to Ghia is crucial to my mid week happy hour fix. All the taste, none of the hangover. It really hits the 'spot' when you need something with that bitter, zingy, bubbly punch. I prefer the spritzes, but the new bottle is so lovely for hosting! Save it and use it as a vase after.

  • I'm obsessed with the spritzes! I love having Ghia on weeknights when I don't feel like having alcohol. The only downside is that all 3 spritz flavors pretty much taste the same, would love to have a significant difference in flavor. It is pricey, but it's a high-quality bevvy.

  • I love this. It is pretty bitter, which could be off-putting to some, but for me it replaces a Negroni, amaro, or aperitif. One downside is it states to use within 30 days of opening, so it has a shorter shelf life than a bottle of alcohol.

  • There are a TON of new non-alcoholic options coming out, but Ghia was one of the early players in the scene and also super consistent. I am a big fan of not trying to be a "replacement" for alcohol, but just another option. The Ghia soda is my go-to. A bit pricey per can, but worth it. The can design and label is excellent with a masterclass in timeless simplistic design.

  • Definitely different from most brands but I loved in nonetheless

  • Ghia entered the non-alcoholic beverage category long before the many brands that have followed. They truly set a high bar in terms of both taste and branding. 🧡

  • Ghia's canned Spritz is my favorite drink. I first came across the brand at launch, and was gifted their original social tonic in a bottle for the brand's first holiday season. The original drink was not my favorite - too bitter for me, and when mixed with other ingredients I couldn't find a combo for my palette. Their Spritz cans on the other hands are flavorful, complex, and delicious. I love their original flavor, but the Ginger can is great too. They are wonderful gifts, great for a picnic or for the holidays. I especially love the other gifting items the brand creates - whether it's puzzles, cocktail glasses, or a tin box. Ghia's branding is beautiful and so well done. Melanie really created a world unlike anything else on the market right now. I always look forward to seeing what Ghia does next!

The original drink is just not for me, but I am sure it is for some people. The biggest negative is that after opening the bottle, it does not stay preserved for very long. It's not like alcohol that you can you just keep on your shelf. That's why the ready-to-drink spritz cans are so great. You don't have to worry about them spoiling.

  • It ia expensive for what it is. You don’t get much and it really just isn’t remarkable. I would consider getting it for friends or family that want a non-alcoholic cocktail substitute.

I’ll give it three stars because it is definitely a unique product. I can’t think of anything else like it on the market. Even though it is unique, it just isn’t special enough for what it is. Tried it once but the cost is prohibitive of my desire to repurchase it. It didn’t make enough of an impact to encourage re-purchasing.

  • I tried two flavors. They were interesting and the packaging is beautiful for display, but they were both too herbal. They had too many notes. They probably taste better as a mixer, but I had it as a non-alcoholic drink and one gave me a hive bc of one of the many ingredients.
