  • After being on the hunt for bedroom wall sconces for a while, I discovered Gantri and ordered the Kobble Wall Lights, mainly because they're compatible with Phillips Hue bulbs and would integrate well with the rest of my lighting setup. I went with a custom color (I'm a fan of them offering this feature!) and knew that would increase the time between order and delivery, which was totally fine. I also liked the price point, which was significantly less than all of the other wall sconces I had been browsing and couldn't justify spending the money on. I love the way they look - super clean, modern, and minimal, and the installation was super simple. I actually ended up hanging them with strong command strips as I'm a renter and didn't want to mess with the walls too much. Only thing I'll say (that another reviewer already mentioned) is that the dimmer can be a bit janky, which causes the light to annoyingly flicker, but since I use my Phillips Hue app to control the brightness, this is only an issue for me if I choose to manually dim the light, which is rare.

  • Tried writing a full review of the situation on their site when prompted via post-purchase email. But surprise surprise never got posted. So TLDR; DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS. Bought the Pavone Floor Lamp and it was a huge mistake. I'm in Toronto so the CAD price came up to over $600 then upon deliver had to pay another $150+ dollars for duties with no warning. No email no phone call but upon delivery, i got a call from my concierge saying UPS needed me yo come pay duties. !??! I have been getting packages to my apartments for 10+ years and NEVER once have had to pay duties in person and never have not had an email stating the amount BEFORE the delivery shows up. I asked the UPS delivery person and they said the shipper would have set it up this way. WTF!?! WHY?? The light already took forever to make and ship and ended not coming til July 5. I ordered May 23 -.- Had I not just HAPPENED to take a wfh day I would've had some bullshit runaround trying to get this light. All of this waiting and BS only to open and assemble the light that ended up being complete garbage. Almost $800 for Ikea quality garbage. Worse than Ikea. The poles of the lamp twist easily never fully locking into place so if you try to turn the light they twist and criss cross instead. The lampshade uses magnets to "secure into place" but are so weak I wasn't sure they actually were magnets. Flimsiest garbage ever. Even then those faults may have been forgivable IF the inner workings didn't drop out of the bottom of it every time you tried to move it. The stupid little rubber bander that I assume is to hold the bottom plate in place does NOT work. In fact it makes the whole things even more unstable and if you don't position it just right it falls over. It crashed to the ground leaving a scratch before i ever turned it on. Tried contacting customer service to no avail so even if I had kept the packaging I doubt I'd be able to get a refund especially now that I've seen the other reviews here. Complete scam.

I had a similar experience but was able to return the lamp (after they made us film a video and jump through various hoops). They tried to pocket the shipping and restocking fee for a defective item but I raised enough hell that they gave up. Complete joke of a company with hostile customer service.

  • I've had two lamps from Gantri—the Maskor Table Light and the Arpeggio Floor Light—for about three years. If you're looking for instant gratification, be warned. These lamps take a long time to ship. I think it was six or seven weeks before I saw my lamps. The way I understand it is that Gantri's lamps are made to order and 3D-printed and assembled only when they're ordered. Points in the plus column for sustainability, but definitely frustrating if you're not trying to live in the dark for months. However, if you're willing to be patient these lamps are great. Mine have held up really well. Other things to note: 1) the lightbulbs they use are not the standard bulbs you can find at your average store, but you can find them online easily enough (I've only had to replace the bulbs maybe twice in three years), and 2) I've found the dimming switches can be a little finicky. They get stuck every now and then and can cause some slight flickering issues if they're positioned not quite right.

  • Nightmare customer service experience with a dud product. We decided to splurge for one of their lamps as we wanted something design-forward, but as soon as it arrived there was drama. The lamp felt flimsier than expected, and when plugged in it kept flickering instead of providing consistent light. When we reached out to customer service (no phone, only email chains btw) to request a replacement, they put us on the most unpleasant hamster wheel: we had to test the lamp in 2 different places, and film a video for them to prove that the product was truly defective – when you're charging a premium pricing your customer service should be a little more customer-centric. So anyway, they finally deem us worthy of a refund and send us a return label, but without warning us cancel the return on the 14th day. So we go through the process again. Then, a couple weeks later they issue the refund, but decide to pocket the shipping fee... it's an incredible con job, with the expectation the customer will just give up. Note to Gantri's owners: Make good products and charge accordingly, rather than trying to shaft the customer every step of the way. If you had just handled this professionally and made the refund process cleaner, we would have been happy to re-order. Instead, an 11-week process to get a dud product returned makes us certain to never again shop with you. Please reflect.

  • Full disclosure, I won my lamp via a giveaway. But, I had it on my wishlist for so long and I've been using it (and transporting it to 3 different apartments after I moved) for 2ish years now. I love the ethos of this company and their designers just get it. My lamp is sleek, functional, and just so darn cute!

  • Okay so first of all.. Happy 3 year anniversary to my lamp! It has seen me through many different apartments and bedsides, and many phases of being scared of the dark and sleeping through the night with the light on (lol) ((Surprisingly, I have never had to replace the bulb)) The quality is amazing and the design feels very thoughtful. It's 3D printed (++++ for sustainability), and every component (dimmer switch, cord) feels high quality. The lighting is warm and ambient, and casts a perfect glow. The price has increased almost double since I initially purchased this lamp, but still, I would buy it all over again!

  • I ordered two table lamps from Gantri's "ready to ship" option (wasn't willing to wait for the custom-made timeframe), and am really happy with them. They both add a beautiful, soft light to the room and come with a built-in dimmer. They arrived quickly, and the whole packaging/unboxing experience felt thought through.

  • Gantri lights are super pretty and VERY high quality. You can definitely tell by the weight of the product and even the dimming switch is nicely detail. I visited My friend and saw her with a Gantri light and was so obsessed that I pulled the trigger to get the Palm Floor Light. Love that their product is eco friendly!!

I think the price is a bit steep. I wish there are sales! Edit: the prices are just getting more and more expensive. I placed an order in June and it’s October (still hasn’t gotten it yet). The shipping delay is wild. I will keep this review 2 stars until I can get my hands on the lamp 2nd Update: I finally received my lamp and I gotta say the quality is amazing. Gantri did offer a discount for the super late delay so there is that.

  • A brand that puts an emphasis on its designers and making clean, accessible designs. Unfortunately, their 3D printed materials leave something to be desired as they scrape easily and leave paint marks. Another issue I had was with the brightness estimates. I purchased a Torchiere, which should (in theory) be designed to scatter lots of ambient light throughout a room. The light they provided and the density of the shade however lead to a more “ambient cave” vibe at full brightness. I.e. tons of shadows if not directly in the lights path, and most of the room bathed in darkness. I’m Love the mission, loved the packaging, and they have great product estimate times. But they should either raise product prices on some designs so that a product actually does what it’s supposed to, or be more critical of the designs given during R&D.

  • I purchased two lamps and did not experience any dramatic shipping issues. However on one lamp, the 3D printed part that connects to the wall snapped in half immediately. We DIYed a solution, but that definitely left a bad taste. Now that both lamps are on the wall we're loving the way they look and the function of the dimmer!

  • I ordered the Palm table light and did experience some of the wait other are describing. But that wasn't the issue. After only a couple of weeks the dimmer broke and the lamp stopped working. I was able to contact and get a replacement ordered, and that took almost 2.5 months to arrive. No issues with this lamp so far! Customer service, ordering, and tracking are amazing but finished quality and durability might be a concern.

  • Gantri is exceptionally backlogged, and is hiding the scale of their problem to customers.

    Feedback

Gantri is, unfortunately, imploding. Regardless of what the estimated delivery date notes on the site, lamps are not getting out of the door for over five months. This is due to “production challenges related to being short-staffed, reworking [the] production process, and working with new materials… coupled with an increase in demand” as per their customer experience manager. In short, though their 3D-printed process is novel, it is not scalable, and they are not informing customers of this impact before they make purchases.

  • Just received my Kero lamp from Gantri, and to say it is exquisite is an understatement. It’s very high quality, with a stylish designer switch, and magnificent soft light. The only downside is that the production and shipping took about three weeks longer than expected (a total of 7 weeks roughly), but I was keeping it for myself so didn’t mind the delay too much. 10/10 would purchase again.
