Fringe is a health food brand making plant based protein bars for surfers, travelers, and anyone living an active and outdoors lifestyle. We focus on incorporating functional mushrooms, other adaptogens, and powerful superfoods into our bars to create the cleanest and most functional protein bars that exist. Which also tastes absolutely amazing. Fringe bars are fully plant based, gluten free, contain 15g of protein, and 0g of added sugar. They are made with all natural clean ingredients, sweetened only with dates, and are free of anything artificial or processed. Fringe bars are intended to be the ultimate convenient fuel for surf sessions and all daily adventures. We are taking a radical and fun approach with the goal of redefining what packaged food should be.
As a brand, Fringe stands to keep people stoked to get out there and keep charging. We want to empower people to live their most adventurous lives and pursue their passions. All through community, positive vibes, and functional nutrition.
Fringe was founded by and is operated by Hunter Schaeffer in Rehoboth Beach, DE. Hunter is a surfer, lover of the outdoors, and is passionate about health and wellness. He started making his own mushroom infused protein bars at home to take on surf missions around the DE and MD coast. After being disappointed with the ingredients in all other products on the market, and realizing that something of this quality was missing for folks like himself, he started Fringe to bring his bars to the world and to spread the stoke.
