I've been a fan of Four Sigmatic since early in the mushroom-based product days. They were the first to really make mushroom-based coffee, hot chocolate, and chai tea alternatives trendy, increasing their product mix to include a variety of additive functional benefits. The chai latte, in particularly is a great pantry staple.

Loved as a pistachio latte at NeueHouse back in the day. Delicious. Bougie. Occasionally worth it.

Coffee tasted pretty bad but I expected that for the mushroom content. That said I didn’t feel any impact over regular coffee. Went through about half the box before giving up and going back to regular. 

Tried one of the mushroom supplement mix ins after constantly hearing the podcast ads. Can’t really speak to how it affected my health as I didn’t take it for very long given the taste wasn’t great. I know there’s supposed to be a lot of health benefits though but I couldn’t get with it 

I was skeptical of mushroom coffee, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised how much it reminded me of coffee and how little it reminded me of mushrooms. I am still in the small sample size, and I don't know if I would ever Completely forego coffee, but Sigmatic  is definitley making a worthy substitute. 

Interesting concept, but I’m a coffee drinker through and through. These didn’t make the cut, but would be great if I ever needed to reduce my caffeine intake. 

Four Sigmatic coffee beans might have health benefits from the mushrooms but I find it to be almost undrinkable. Somehow their instant coffees are much more palatable and also easier to prepare to get in your daily dose of shrooms. I also like the mushroom matcha latte mix when using two packs mixed with non dairy milk to make it matcha-y enough for my taste. 

These products do not taste good, nor does research literature support the allegations made by this company about the long-term benefits. Any benefit you get is likely placebo, or because your lifestyle has changed in general to coincide with buying such shenanigans. Don't even bother with the protein powders, they are horrendous. 

This is a fun drink to mix up your morning hot beverage routine, but it's not something I would buy regularly as it's quite expensive for the amount that you get. Love the concept but didn't particularly notice anything different.


I've really enjoyed adding this into my morning routine. Four Sigmatic is super tasty and has perfect benefits that I look for in mushroom-based drinks. 

I really enjoy the feeling after this compared to a coffee, feels more stable and long-lasting personally. If you're interested in getting functional mushrooms this is probably the most convenient way to accomplish that and also I've heard from friends they find this way less acidic than coffee if you have a sensitive stomach

Can't really justify the price for a shroom latte

They seem pretty pricey to me, so I usually only buy them when they're on sale!

This review is only for their mushroom cacao mixes. I have a soft spot in my heart for hot chocolate, but traditional Swiss Miss, etc are too sweet for me. I love the earthy, chocolatey flavors of these, and the Chill Cacao is an ideal chilly evening night-cap :) 

I have only tried the THINK supplement, but can't recommend it enough. It gets rid of brain fog, gives a little boost of energy and allows me focus and be more productive. No side effects!

Not my cup of tea... Taste wasn't all there for me unfortunately. Really wanted to love it.

Great products, and so many different ways to incorporate shrooms into your daily life!

Would love a bit more control/input over which mushrooms are available together.

We've been Four Sigmatic subscribers for a while now and love the variety offered, especially the coffees which are super-convenient when traveling.  

the absolute best! coffee plus adapotogens! I don't taste the mushrooms straight on, so having the health benefits to my morning coffee is a game changer.

They offer great specialized mushroom-based drinks! I really like how they come in small packages and are travel-friendly. My favorite so far is the mushroom cacao mix! It's definitely something that you've got to try!

Love their mushroom coffee and mushrooms blend. Their monk fruit based coconut cream tend to clump up and doesn't dissolve quite well.
