  • I bought both dresses in a medium size. The midi dress was fitting in the bodice and flared out nicely on the bottom. However the Linen mini dress did not fit even though I have purchased other Farm Rio clothing in a size medium I had reached out to customer service to exchange the size but they were not helpful and did not offer any help.

  • I just discovered this brand and so far i am really liking the array of fun prints they do. I do find that they are on the pricier side of affordable but you can generally find this brand on sale if you hunt around. I mainly like them for work because they feel dressy without being boring. I do find the sizing to be very generous in general.

  • Are you into monochrome? Do you love a black on black on black look? Are you a fan of understated elegance? Do neutrals always catch your eye? If you answered yes to any of the above questions, Farm Rio probably isn’t for you. This brand is loud! It is full of colorful tropical prints and unique cuts. Nothing about it is quiet and understated. I am here for it! …however, it’s probably not for everyone. At this point, I have several pieces from Farm Rio from over the years and I love every one of them. The fabrics are high quality. Several of the fabrics are “environmentally conscious” (I haven’t done the research to know how much they are really doing there.) The cuts are unique and flattering. The designs are eye-catching and fun. If you are keen to dress in a rainbow, or as they would say “dress in happiness,” give Farm Rio a go!

For a brand promoting sustainability, their items do have a general wear factor…as in how many times can I wear that bright yellow pineapple dress out with the same group of friends before it gets old? I imagine people don’t wear their dresses 10+ times on average. I’m glad to see Farm Rio on Rent the Runway and would like to see how the brand further incorporates sustainability thinking into not just the fabric choices, but into maximizing the usage of the clothes.

  • Farm Rio creates beautiful and unique pieces, perfect for building a colorful wardrobe. I have quite a few pieces now and continue to receive compliments when I wear them. For reference, I am 6’2” and athletic and have also found their sizing fits true to size, even for taller women. Love their mission- Do wish they’d use less polyester and more sustainable fabrics on more pieces but they do carry sustainable pieces via the website often now.

  • I absolutely love the dresses made by FARM rio. I love the topical and colorful designs. This one is one of my favorite pieces I have by them. I love the quality and design. I highly recommend this brand.

  • Love Farm Rio products. The quality is there and I love the design/construction of the pieces I own. I do feel like the sizing is a little confusing sometimes. There are some items that I own in an XS, S and M. So I would recommend being able to try on or be thorough in measurements before buying.

  • I have purchased Farm Rio originally through Anthropologie, but recently through their website as well. This brand is high quality, slow fashion at it's finest. I love bright colors, and this brand specializes in this. The shipping is very eco-friendly as well! My only issue is that it can be quite expensive.

  • I love that farm rio is sustainable and gives back to South America , but some of the styles I am just not sold on. I bought a beautiful sweater from their website which is great , but I ended up having to get ax small even though I am a size 8 to 10. I wish their sizing was more consistent and I am not able to go to the store always, and they rarely have a lot of options in stock at Nordstrom. Many of the dresses are beautiful, but some of them I cannot justify the price. I think I will opt for tops from this brand that are unique/ colorful and can be paired with jeans

  • Sizing and cuts can be hit or miss, but this brand is my HOLY GRAIL. Every piece I own is so stand-out, but easy to wear and pair with other items, and gets tons of compliments. Their collaboration with Adidas is also amazing. I can't rave about this brand enough!

  • Love how colourful and fun this brand is! Great styles that don't break the bank and some great collabs with brands like Levi's.

The range is HUGE so it can be a little overwhelming.

  • Farm Rio has bold prints and bright colors. Their maxi and midi dresses are a hit or miss for petit women. They tend to be way too long. The mini dresses are perfect in regard to length. I have a few dresses from them and none are lined. Although the print is beautiful the material is often cotton or cotton blend. Their knit items tend to have heft. I only buy the dresses on sale since the regular price is out of my affordability range. Since the company is Brazilian, their social cause is to buy a tree for the rain forrest with every order.

  • Summary: Didn't ship my order for five weeks, Website broken, Store doesn't pickup phone, Support doesn't care. Details: My Farm Rio order did not ship for 32 days. Order #841511. Then, it was not delivered for 6 weeks. Ordered on Oct 14, not shipped until Nov 16, and did not arrive until Nov 26. In addition, Farm Rio New York (flagship store) never picks up its phone. I tried calling the store to ask about a few dresses on November 22, November 25, November 26, November 27, December 1. I also tried to call today, December 6, just now at 4:30pm. Finally, Farm Rio's dresses showed as in-stock during sale, but apparently they were out of stock the whole time and only showed as out of stock when I went to go check out. Customer Support is not helpful at all. Emailed with Larissa and she told me to try doing things that I had already done. Long ago, in fact.
