Farmgirl Flowers Reviews

3.5

Farmgirl Flowers earns mixed reviews: many praise the brand’s gorgeous, long‑lasting bouquets, sophisticated color palettes, rustic burlap presentation, and responsive replacements, while others report wilted or mismatched arrangements, fragile holiday evergreens, and delivery left on doorsteps without notice. Reviews of Farmgirl Flowers also cite an elegant unboxing and unique seasonal curation, but note inconsistent quality control and a frustrating ordering process for some buyers.

  • Do not expect to receive a bouquet of flowers that even remotely represent the pictures advertised on their site. I paid $99 for what they describe as their "Market Haul Dahlias - Soft Palette". What I was sent was a small handful of small dahlias in one single color (not a "soft Palette" - they were all the same color - bright maroon/fuchsia), and they were a small batch and small flower size, and the quality was very poor. Reached out to them, and it took them six days to respond. And when they responded, they said "Well, did you look at the full carousel of the pictures for that order?" Mis-advertising at best. But even if I was to accept that logic, the quality was really bad - wilted. I had to throw them out the morning of the fourth day after receiving them. Then the next email was "Well, did you take a picture of them the morning you threw them out?" I replied that no, I did not think I had to, but then did include a picture of the pitiful flowers that I had cut the day they arrived and put in a small (have you caught on how many times I have used this word?) table vase - showing the poor quality. Well, nothing back after that email. Nada. I urge you NOT to do business with this company. There is no way that what they sent me was worth the $99 I paid and not by a mile representative of their advertising photo (nor their carousel of images). Don't expect this place to stay in business for very long.

  • I love what this company stands for but I am terribly disappointed with the product and their service. The bouquet I received was wilted and some flowers were dead all together. The packaging was beautiful but the flowers were not in water; they came with a wet sponge wrapped around the stems. I was not home when the flowers were delivered, nor was I alerted that I had received them so they sat on my doorstep for several days. It was only when I called the company to ask when they were delivered that I found out they had been delivered days prior. The label on the box stated they were sent from Florida and I live in California so even if I had received them upon delivery, they would have been without water for 24 hours or more, which is not sustainable for fresh flowers. The company took no responsibility what so ever and offered me a discount on a future order as a concession. This makes no sense, 1. Because my friend sent me the flowers as a thank you and 2. Why would either of us want to spend more money on a poorly packaged product. If you are going to offer a flowers by mail, they should be delivered in water and you should alert the recipient that they have a perishable gift waiting for them.

  • DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I received Mother’s Day flowers & they started dropping all the petals & died 4 days after receiving them. I was told they only last 5-10 days? These are expensive flowers for 5 days - mine lasted 4.. they arrived smooshed together & with no instruction card! I would normally know what to do with flowers but I guess the twine & rubber bands they use should be removed - how would I know to remove this? The flowers I order from another place has water safe rubber bands that disintegrate. The response from farm girl flowers was to ask for a picture - which I provided. This is where they blamed me for the flowers dying. Then the second email Was to ask if I did daily water changes - which I responded yes. They then did not respond further. These are expensive flowers & to treat your customers or recipients this way is shameful! Especially for a holiday that I would like my gift to last

  • I ordered three items for the holidays which resulted in one hit and two misses. The little evergreen I purchased has looked fantastic since I unpacked it and has very easily thrived. On the other hand, the poinsettia looked pretty rough coming out of the box and declined immediately. Half the leaves fell off within a day. The wreath I purchased looked shaggy out of the box and became dessiccated within a couple days, despite spritzing it with water.
