Reviews mention

  • Durable denim construction
  • Soft, luxurious cashmere
  • Minimalist, timeless aesthetics
  • Comfortable everyday pants
  • Inconsistent sizing accuracy
  • Boxy, unflattering silhouettes
  • Thin, shrink‑prone cotton tees
  • Narrow, blister‑prone footwear

Everlane proves a reliable source for well-made basics, according to reviews of Everlane, with standouts like Way‑High Jeans, Classic/Cheeky denim, cashmere, alpaca sweaters, and utility/barrel pants that hold up and anchor capsule wardrobes. Reviews also fault inconsistent sizing and boxy, unflattering cuts, variable fabric quality (thin tees, shrinking/pilling), and a drift from earlier simplicity—plus ethics concerns (union-busting) and limited size inclusivity—making the brand hit-or-miss depending on the piece.

  • My favorite brand for high-quality, beautiful basics. You can't go wrong with the Cashmere or Denim. Also love the Box Cut Tees, button-ups, and Perform line. The Day Glove is also a staple.

  • Great prices, solid products with good, minimalist design

Cashmere pilled up pretty quickly, but that's relatively expected at this price point

  • Great basics

Sometimes after too many washes or dry cleaning the fabric gets rough

  • Really love the company’s mission and vision! Love how they are on the journey for fashion transparency.

Quality has decreased and isn’t as good as I though it would be! Things that I have bought from them don’t last long Colors are too bland

  • Respect the transparency the brand provides. 100% human line is my fav… mission driven

    Feedback

    inconsistent sizing

  • I would love their products more if they didn’t make their pants so short. I’m 5’8… and my ankles are cold.

  • I absolutely love the quality of Everlanes clothing. No other brand can do basics as well, especially their Way-High Jeans and white button downs. I also admire how inclusive their website is. It's so much easier to actually envision myself in their clothes.

  • I received a loop back knit sweat shirt as a gift in size large. The sweatshirt washed in cold water and dried in a warm dryer (not hot) and shrunk nearly a whole size - more specifically 2 inches in the body length and an inch in sleeve length. The hand feel of the 100% cotton fabric was on the rigid/stiff side to start and stiffened after first wash. The quality of the cotton was not organic and not claimed to be despite the brand's over-reaching claims to transparency and sustainability. The spec of the garment needs to be adjusted for shrinkage, the hand feel of the fabric softened. Would not purchase this item again.

The use of 100% cotton for a sweat shirt is unto itself risky for washing and drying because of the inherent shrinkage that comes with using all cotton. This is fixable utilizing the information that can come from wash, dry testing the fabric in dyeing, testing the same in a finished garment in varying temperatures, adjusting the tension of the loop back knitting of the material, and above all else - actually make it with GOTS Certified Organic Cotton and dye in low impact (low water usage) dyes. This is an admirable company with great values - but is must make a better quality product to close the circle of having to replace the product too quickly compounding our already dire environmental problems brought on by having to replace cheap products.

  • I really love the fit and simplicity of the clothing. It is medium to low quality clothing though. The colors fade quickly, the fit of the shirts break down quickly, and I haven't found a pair of pants from Everlane that are up to quality. However, they're reliable and cheap and worth buying if you live an active lifestyle.

  • A quality that is unmatched for the price. Love the materials, fits, and mission of the brand. Pro tip when shopping online: for selected styles, you can view how they fit for different sizes – super helpful when shopping for pants!

More communications around transparency in their social media. Let's make transparency and ethics mainstream!

  • Just always a little bit disappointing... Sizing and cut tend to be inconsistent from colour to colour. Same with quality: I have one incredible pair of pants that I think might actually last forever, but then the t-shirts have been demoted to pijamas after just one season. Also, what is up with their culture? Has that been sorted?

    Feedback

Would be great if their quality of materials, cut and fit was as high as their brand. Overall, their collections lack a little personality.

  • Their essentials/basics have a lil flair and are cute and fitting for everyday wear. *However*, it's been revealed that while they tout an ethical approach to fashion, they've been...not so ethical. Of course there's no ethical consumption under capitalism, but their consistent promotions that they're "radically transparent" has turned me off from this brand

Maybe they could stop union-busting + treat their workers better...

  • Huge fan of their sweaters, basically lived in them in 2020

Can get busy - this means sometimes you have to wait in a line outside the store.
