Reviews mention

  • Durable cashmere sweaters
  • Flattering cheeky denim
  • Minimalist timeless designs
  • Soft comfortable fabrics
  • Inconsistent sizing across styles
  • Boxy unflattering silhouettes
  • Thin sheer cotton tees
  • Occasional quality fluctuations

Everlane earns largely positive reviews for durable, minimalist basics—especially cashmere sweaters, Way-High and 90s/Classic Cheeky jeans, alpaca knits, and sturdy backpacks—suggesting the brand is good for timeless wardrobe staples. Reviews also flag real drawbacks: inconsistent and often boxy fits, variable and sometimes declining quality in cotton tees and newer drops, limited size inclusivity/lengths, and controversies around sustainability claims and union-busting.

  • I have the ReNew Long Puffer and it is the best winter jacket I own. If possible, I like to avoid down feather jackets since I don't like when the feathers come out and go everywhere, but this jacket is made out of 100% recycled PrimaLoft insulation. It keeps me warm outside and I love that it's made out of recycled materials

  • Ordering was smooth even to Europe - no need to worry about taxes as they were already calculated in the order. Really nice everyday clothes and true to size. Cashmere sweaters and jersey dresses are my favorites.

  • I absolutely love Everlane. The clothes I own are all super high quality for the price. I find that it’s really easy to tell what the products look like from the models on the website. The customer service is great.

No improvements to recommend. I love the brand!

  • I love Everlane's jeans so, so much. But I'm not always sure that the "designer-quality" promise holds true. That said, I love the basics and style and will continue to shop here.

  • The quality is good. But its kind of just meh.

i would like pieces to have more flair. And i feel the prices have gone up, tho i understand that the wage fairness is a huge part of this. But there seems to be less import given to that lately.

  • I've bought a ton of underwear from Everlane. Good quality, simple cotton.

    Feedback

The packaging is excessive, especially for underwear (tagged, in a plastic bag, inside a paper box). The brand has an opportunity to be more sustainable and/or further reduce costs for the consumer.

  • Great fit that doesn’t require constant adjustment, Breathable and moisture-wicking properties. I highly recommend this brand

  • If you love boxy styles and great basics, Everlane is the place to shop! Their pieces are high-quality and have a timeless appeal, making it easy to build a versatile wardrobe. I appreciate the attention to detail and the sustainable practices they promote. Overall, Everlane is a fantastic brand for anyone looking to elevate their everyday essentials!

  • Online, it looks like suuuuuch a bargain for natural fabric clothing (cotton, cashmere, etc). But in the actual store , I was underwhelmed. Lots of see-through clothing when I went in. And it didn't feel as luxe as I believe it should have. Everlane may be great for a once in a while score, but I don't bet on them.

  • I have bought my boyfriend several pieces from Everlane and he loves them. He has had a few issues of items shrinking after wash, so you might want to size up on cotton pieces!

  • Everlane makes such a quality product and I love every piece of clothing I have purchased.

  • Love everything this brand makes. High quality and a beautiful minimal look.

  • some of my pieces from everlane are staples in my wardrobe, others have not worn well over time. overall, i like the quality fine but it's not the first place i'd go to shop for wardrobe staples.

  • Everlane always makes great quality clothing. Bought a pair of black denim jeans recently and love the fit! Stands up in the wash well.

  • Obsessed with all my Everlane jeans and sweaters. Such high quality!

  • These are my go to everyday t-shirts. I love the brand's sustainable fashion mission and their products have great longevity. They are comfortable and the women's cut is flattering. Definitely worth a try if you are looking for simple closet staples!

  • I like their products but I think quality can be inconsistent and sometimes the cuts really aren't flattering. I feel like they also participate in greenwashing and could make more meaningful sustainability commitments.

  • Super high quality, comfortable, and compared to other brands with similar practices, prices are reasonable

  • Everlane was the epitome of San Francisco casual tech worker style about a decade ago. Quality is actually decent and their basics are fantastic, like tees and tanks. Outside of that, some of the styles are really dowdy—it’s like their tech worker customer got older and had kids and wanted to wear slouchy tunic midi dresses and boxy sweaters and practical but boring shoes all the time, so they kept optimizing for that customer. They’re veering into that dangerous GAP territory where everything feels generic and boring and suburban. Style-wise, I wish they would evolve, or perhaps they have just evolved away from what some of their younger consumers are looking for, and I guess that’s OK too.

  • The pieces are hit or miss. Some materials are great while others are overpriced with poor construction.
