  • This is a wonderful brand. I had the privilege of working closely with them on a written piece about sustainable beauty and personal care products, and I tried out several items that all exceeded expectations. Every product of theirs that I've used I have loved. The Tip-to-Toe bar is especially fantastic. It's great for super sensitive skin in all areas as well as hair. It serves both purposes very well. Everything from their shampoo and conditioner bars to multipurpose products and beyond is just awesome. Plus they are made with clean, sustainably sourced, natural ingredients that work. Even the packaging is compostable and recyclable.

  • Ethique was the first solid/bar shampoo brand I tried, and still one of the best. I started with the trial pack and found that St. Clements (now Clarifying) worked best on my thick, sometimes oily hair. Sulfate-free shampoos don't always get my hair feeling clean, so I love that Ethique also offers shampoo bars that contain a palm-oil-free alternative (sodium coco sulfate) that works well on my hair. The in-shower container seemed like a great idea, but it started to get mildew stains and was impossible to clean, so I had to throw it out. I wish it was easier to buy Ethique products in stores rather than ordering online!

  • I got the ETHIQUE discovery pack to try out the various bar shampoos and conditioners. These small shampoos are really great size to pack for traveling! I absolutely love that these are vegan and cruelty free!

  • I love Ethique products overall, but I especially love their soaps. The lime and ginger soap smells refreshing and any time you order from them, they use minimal packaging and all of their packing is compostable.

  • I’ve been wanting to make the transition to shampoo and conditioner bars, and my research always showed that Ethique was the #1 pick. The shampoo bar actually gets sudsy — usually super difficult to find in a bar formula. I need to go over my hair a second time during my washes, but all in all this is a good plastic-free swap.

  • I am no expert in personal care items at all. I buy only what is necessary to clean my hair and body. With that being said, I do want to buy eco-friendly, cruelty-free, vegan brands for body care. A handful of times I purchased from Ethique online for body care, lip care, and body lotion. The packing is compostable, the prices are reasonable, the selection is great, and rewards are worth it too.

  • I love my shampoo bar! I’ve tried a few over the years that just left my hair and scalp feeling… half washed, or like it left a residue? But this one genuinely works! I use the one specifically for scalp care and I love it. This is my 3rd bar reordering from them! I’m not a huge fan of the conditioner bar, but I like to have it with me for traveling. They also have a concentrated conditioner incase the bar style doesn’t work for you either, so I have that for at home use. 10/10 would recommend this brand. ☺️

  • I've tried their body botter and facial moisturizer. I love the packaging so much because it isn't wasteful and it's TSA friendly. However, I found that the body butters don't last nearly as long as they are advertised to and the scents aren't that appealing to me.

  • Works great for me though it took my hair some time to get used to it. The only thing that I do not like about the brand is that some of the products contain titanium dioxide (so I suggest reading the labels if that is something you want to avoid). The sorbet is my favorite and the curliosity works great for curly hair!

  • Love their hair care products. Switched years ago and haven’t gone back. I love how little waste there is and the minimal space I take up in the bathroom.

  • I have curly hair, and I love Ethique’s curly hair products (Professor Curl and Curliosity) more than pretty much any liquid shampoo or conditioner I’ve ever used — my hair feels so soft without being weighed down. They make bar shampoo and conditioner for all kinds of hair types (as well as lots of other other plastic free products!) and they come in mini sizes as well so that you can test out a few to find what you like.

  • I used their shampoo and conditioner bar, and like many solid hair products it does not do much to hydrate my hair. I have a pretty sensitive scalp and very fine hair though, so I could see someone with a different texture than me really like this! I did really enjoy the minimal packaging and the wonderful scents of the products, and. They also free up a lot of space in my bathroom which is a huge plus. I like to take the shampoo bar when I'm travelling to get around liquid restrictions.

  • On my eco-friendly journey, this is by far the easiest step I've taken and better for my wallet. It's amazing how long these last and I really am enjoying their products. The body butter sticks are amazing because I still haven't found another lotion that isn't in a plastic bottle. I would like to see the ingredients get an eco-friendly test though. I would love to see this brand do SPF or tinted face creams.
