Ethique was the first solid/bar shampoo brand I tried, and still one of the best. I started with the trial pack and found that St. Clements (now Clarifying) worked best on my thick, sometimes oily hair. Sulfate-free shampoos don't always get my hair feeling clean, so I love that Ethique also offers shampoo bars that contain a palm-oil-free alternative (sodium coco sulfate) that works well on my hair. The in-shower container seemed like a great idea, but it started to get mildew stains and was impossible to clean, so I had to throw it out. I wish it was easier to buy Ethique products in stores rather than ordering online!
