This contraption owns us. It's so quiet. My husband sleeps on an ice cube. I keep my side delightfully warm and cozy. It makes traveling difficult, because inevitably the bed isn't temperature controlled. The auto adjust throughout the night is fantastic (not without error, but overall great). My husband, a warm sleeper, sleeps 1000% better and would rebuy in a heartbeat. Also, it is visually a much lower profile and sleeker than the chili sleep and other competitors.

I’ve been using the Eight Sleep Pod Pro 2 cover since May 2022, and it’s genuinely been a game-changer—especially for someone who tends to overheat at night. Having a consistently cool bed has noticeably improved my sleep quality. One of the best features is the dual-zone temperature control. My partner and I have very different sleep preferences, and the ability to customize each side has helped us both stay comfortable. The Away Mode is also a thoughtful touch—when one of us is traveling, the entire bed automatically adjusts to the other person’s settings. I know some people online have reported issues with leaks across different versions, but I’ve personally had no problems. Our cover has even survived a move across NYC without a hitch. Overall, the Pod Pro 2 has been a reliable, worthwhile investment in better sleep. EDIT: October 2025 - the Pod has stopped cooling and heating one side. Since it is out of warranty (2 years), their support team has suggested a discount of $1600 for a new cover and hub. I spent about this much the first time around and for such an expensive item to become defective after only 3.5 years is pretty disappointing. Changed review to 3 stars.

Love the fact that I can sleep with the fan/A/C on and wake up with a warm bed

The only downside is the price—it’s definitely an investment, but for those who struggle with temperature regulation at night, it’s worth considering.

The Eight Sleep has completely transformed not only my sleep itself but the way I look at sleep habits. In the ~month that I've been using it I've fallen asleep faster and watched as my sleep metrics (like heart rate and body temperature) improve as I follow the bed's recommendations. It's also great that both sides are cooled/heated independently, so my partner can sleep differently than I do.
