  • Inconsistent palatability for picky dogs

Dog is Human earns largely positive reviews for improving dogs’ itching, coat shine, energy, digestion, and even mobility over several weeks, with many picky eaters treating the multivitamin chews like treats. Reviews also flag real drawbacks: some dogs refuse the strong smell/taste, others experience diarrhea, vomiting, or worsened allergies, and a few concerns cite hard/stale texture or ingredient objections (e.g., citric acid) indicating inconsistent tolerability.

  • My dogs, 14mo Bernedoodle and 9yr rescue have received daily vits for nearly a yr. My rescue’s energy and coat have shown great improvement . my pups think they’re treats and eagerly await “dessert “ after breakfast. The truly surprising thing is this company’s customer service. A glitch in receiving my order after moving was Immediately addressed and replacement is on its way. Excellent customer service And product.

  • My dog is human

Wonderful products. After 3 weeks of taking it. Bones has stopped licking his fur and paws. So happy.

  • This company is amazing! The products are great & the care & support that is given from anyone you have the pleasure of interacting with, is beyond perfection! Jill Ross

  • First off, my very picky eater loves the taste. If I forget to give her one she specifically asks for it each day by tapping the container. We started giving them to her to help with digestion and skin health, both of which have improved with the daily vitamin.

  • We got these to try for our sweet golden girl who gets tummy upset and occasional itchy paws. We’ve only been taking these vitamins for 3 weeks so far, but she loves them and I may be noticing less paw licking! So far we are pleased with this product :)

  • Pretty indifferent. I no longer subscribe because even the lowest subscription left me with way too many multivitamins. My dog liked them when I put them in his food but would not eat them alone. Better than powder supplements, but yeah.

  • I’ve been giving Loki the Dog is Human multivitamins for about three months now and honestly, I’m really happy with how things are going. I first got it because he was shedding a lot and had stubborn tear stains that wouldn’t go away. I tried changing his food, using wipes, and even cutting out chicken, but nothing seemed to help. After a few weeks, I started noticing little changes. Now that it’s been three months, the shedding has slowed down a lot, the tear stains have faded, and his coat looks shinier and healthier. He’s also been more playful and just seems more comfortable overall. The only downside for me is the price. It’s definitely on the expensive side even if I'm on a subscription. But Loki absolutely loves the chews and thinks they’re treats, so giving them to him is super easy. And honestly, if it’s helping him feel better, I don’t mind spending a bit more. If you’re thinking about trying it, I’d say go for one bottle and see how your pup reacts. It made a big difference for mine.

  • I've got a toy poodle, and if you have one too they can be super sensitive when it comes to their skin, stomach, and allergies. My girl has a chicken allergy, so we went with beef version of Dog is Human. On the pricier side tho but since we used this 2 weeks ago her coat already looks better. She did get diarrhea during the first 3 days, which freaked me out a bit. So I reduced the dosage to half a chew and mixed it to her food. Seems to work and helped a lot with the adjustment. She's been doing great ever since. Less itching, fewer allergy flare-ups. Wish beef was the same price as chicken or maybe a different flavor too.

  • Can’t recommend this enough! We started these multivitamins about a month and a half ago and Lulu’s coat already looks so much better. It’s not as dry as before, and she seems less irritated. It’s honestly hard to find a dog multivitamin that has clean ingredients and gets your dog excited to eat it. This one checks both boxes. Definitely a good investment!

  • I have a Golden Retriever who’s been dealing with itching, shedding, and skin issues for years. We’ve tried special shampoos and topicalss. They’d work for a few days, but the issues would always come back and vet visits alone have cost us a lot, so when I saw their ad and read reviews online, I give it a try. I started him on the chews a couple of months ago, and he’s honestly doing so much better. He’s way less itchy, and the paw licking has gone down too. One thing to note tgat the smell of the chews is a little strong when you first open the jar. Not awful, just... noticeable. If you have a picky pup, maybe something to keep in mind. But mine didn’t care at all he gobbled it up, so I guess despite the smell, it must taste pretty good.

  • My GSD has had a rough time with yeast and allergies. Her skin was always irritated, and the constant scratching made her miserable even while she was on Apoquel. It was tough watching her go through that. We started her on Dog is Human chews months agp and it wasn’t an overnight fix but we started seeing progress around the 3 week mark. Her itching started to calm down, and by the second month, I was able to wean her down to half of her Apoquel dose. Now we’re on our 4th month, and she’s completely off the meds and doing great. That said, it didn’t work as fast as some people claim. It took us months to see full progress, so don’t expect instant results. But if you stick with it, it can make a big difference. She hardly itches anymore, her coat looks way healthier, and she finally seems comfortable in her own skin. Definitely worth trying if your dog is struggling with similar issues just be patient and consistent.

I was lucky, my dogs conditions, chewing his feet, ear pain, joint pain, happier happened within days,,I was blown away!!!

  • Gave my pup one chew daily and in just 3 days his poop was firmer and way easier to pick up (iykyk). We’re on our second month now and his poop has been super consistent ever since. I didn’t expect to see results that fast, but this stuff seriously works. His tummy’s clearly happier. Price wise, it’s definitely not the cheapest but since he doesn’t take any other supplements, I’m happy to keep it in his routine.

  • My little Shih Tzu, Shooky, loves these! She literally waits for her chew every morning after breakfast. Her coat looks so healthy, the itching has gone down a lot, and she’s definitely more energetic. I’m a customer for LIFE!

  • I was pretty frustrated at first. The shipping took longer than expected and I didn’t realize I had signed up for a subscription instead of a one-time order. It felt a bit confusing at checkout. But I reached out to their customer service and Zoe was super helpful and quick to sort it all out. For the product, hmm it’s actually been amazing so far. My pup had some redness all over her body bc of all the itching. Took her few weeks on the chews to see her get better. Still a bit red on some areas. Tho, I can’t credit everything to the chews alone since we also started making his food at home. But I really think adding these gave it that extra push.

  • I was honestly a little hesitant to try Dog is Human because my dog can be super picky with supplements. The first day or two, he wasn’t totally sold on the taste, but I kept offering it like a treat and now he actually gets excited when he hears the jar open. After a few weeks, I noticed he is less itchy and has more energy on our walks. It’s not some overnight miracle, but I can definitely see small improvements that make me feel good about continuing with it.

  • My pup, Spartan, started slowing down earlier this year, but now he’s more energetic and playful. Also, they used human grade ingredients here and you can tell they actually care about dogs’ health and aren’t just pushing another generic product. The only downside is the jar runs out kinda fast if your dog needs two chews a day. I wish they had a larger size! But overall, it’s a solid find.

  • OMG!!!!!!! We spent 5 years and I can't tell you how many THOUSANDS of $$$ every month on medical bills, testing, medications, special diets, only to continue watching our baby suffer so horribly. I finally told hubby I give up on the Dr's and I'm trying this stuff I keep seeing on FB. She was just over 1 week in and the itching, scooting and waking us up in the night because she was chewing herself so bad, she would scream, all STOPPED!!!! I don't write reviews, but I had to here. Please, please, please if your baby is struggling, try this product. If I could get on a mountain top and scream my review to the world of dog owners, I would. Thank you, Dog Is Human, you are our Heros
