I have very long, fine hair but a lot of it. My hair is not damaged but it is dry, especially at the ends and it low porosity. I got the Love smoothing line because of the moisturizing benefits but found it to be heavy on my hair. I really liked the shampoo but the conditioner and leave in feel too heavy for my hair type. I’m still using the leave in just use a lot less than I normally would with other products and I do love the moisturizing and anti frizz benefits but it’s really easy to overdo and can make my hair look greasy. But that’s on me for getting a product meant for thicker hair! I think people with thicker, coarser hair would love it. The scent is light and florally. The OI line, however, is so perfect for my hair. I used up the leave in spray and can’t wait to get another bottle. It’s light but leaves my hair feeling so soft and smooth and shiny. The oil feels like it would be really thick and just sit on top of my hair but my ends drink it up and it leaves my hair soft and shiny and moisturized. I use it on my ends every day or every other days and after I wash and I use my leave in products to seal in the moisture. I love the OI line so much I can’t wait to expand and try the shampoo and conditioner. The scent smells like a luxury, high end salon. And it lasts. It’s actually the only thing I’ve ever used on my hair that my husband has commented on saying he loves it. So there’s that lol Davines is such a special brand with so many lines for so many hair types - I think everyone can find something that will work for them. But everyone does need to try the OI line. It’s so special.
