Reviews mention

  • Gentle, sensitive-skin formulas
  • Transparent, clean ingredient lists
  • Effective barrier-repair serums
  • Accessible, widely available assortment
  • Mineral spf white-cast residue
  • Grainy, hard-to-rinse masks
  • Occasional pilling, oily textures
  • Inconsistent, funky product scents

Cocokind earns mixed-to-positive reviews: the brand is good for gentle, clean formulas that soothe sensitive skin—standouts include the Oil to Milk Cleanser, Ceramide Barrier Serum, Chlorophyll Discoloration Serum, and Revitalizing Eye Cream—yet efficacy varies and some products underwhelm. Reviews also flag sensory and design drawbacks such as grainy or hard‑to‑rinse masks, funky or earthy scents, oily textures, pilling, white cast on mineral SPF, and fiddly or cracking packaging.

  • I love cocokind from their products, brand values, quality, and transparency. The products work really well for my skin and they have a very reasonable price point for the quality of the products they create. I appreciate that they share what goes into the cost of the products on the outside of each product box.

  • I like the packaging and the balance between a lotion that didn’t smell scented while also not smelling unscented.

    Feedback

The lotion didn’t provide enough moisture.

  • Really great mineral sunscreen! I appreciate the price point for a high quality physical sunscreen that works well.

Mini sunscreen would be great for on the go.

  • I’ve only tried their sunscreen, but I really enjoyed it. It didn’t irritate my sensitive skin, gave a nice glow, and applied pretty well over makeup throughout the day. The brand does rotating sliding-scale prices and bundles for different products, which is such a nice way to increase accessibility!

The sunscreen can be a bit watery/slick, and leaves a bit of a white cast. Since I’m pale it’s fine, but would most likely be very noticeable on anyone above a medium/tan skin tone.

  • I have been a fan of Cocokind since before their rebranding. I love how this brand represents itself and is products as gentle, clean, and sustainable while also being at an affordable price point. My favorite products right now are the MyMatcha stick for taming my fly aways, the celery root moisturizer and the chia oil for my gua sha routine.

Some of their products don’t have a ton of effect on my skin type! Maybe consider increased potency on key ingredients to make them more effective

  • I eyed this brand for a while during Target runs, and finally gave the resurfacing sleep mask a shot. While it didn't irritate my skin, it also didn't do much in the way of improving it either. If anything, it kept my skin hydrated overnight, but there were no differences in texture, hyperpigmentation, or fine lines while using this product. A friend of mine recommended their matcha stick, so if I give that a try I will re-visit and update this review.

  • I love how affordable things brand is yet the quality is amazing.

  • I absolutely love the brand and all of their products! It's amazing when you feel good about the mission while also loving the results of the products.

    Expand the line of products!

  • I've loved everything I've tried from cocokind. My favorite products are the sleeping mask, chlorophyll mask (totally unique, nothing like it), and the cleansing oil. I love that they are affordable and available in whole foods and target, but the quality is high-end.

    Feedback

They do a great job of sustainable packaging, but would love to see even less plastic.
