CeraVe earns strong reviews as a gentle, dermatologist-recommended line that effectively hydrates, calms acne, and supports sensitive skin—especially through staples like the Hydrating Cleanser, Foaming Facial Cleanser, Moisturizing Cream, AM/PM Facial Moisturizing Lotions, and Healing Ointment. Reviews also flag drawbacks: some moisturizers feel heavy or cause breakouts, certain cleansers can be drying or under-cleanse, SPFs can irritate or feel oily, and concerns arise over non–cruelty-free status and perceived harsh or endocrine-disrupting filters in some sunscreens.

Great product. Super moisturizing. I’ve used there body moisturizer for years and just started to use there face cream. It’s very lightweight and makes your skin feel great.

This is a brand you can trust. My dermatologist first referred me to it while I was on tretinoin. It was the only face wash and moisturizer that didn't make my face burn. I will always use and trust Cerave.

Cera Ve used to be the only cream that ever worked wonders for my face. However, since learning that Cera Ve test on animals and are not peta verified, I have stopped buying it. I'm throughly unimpressed. Even though it was amazing for my skin, I can't use products that harm animals.

I absolutely love their moisturizing cream! I’ve struggled to find a moisturizer that works for my skin type until I found CeraVe!

I love the products from CeraVe, the cleanser left my skin feeling really good. Although the packaging is really not my style and the 500ml cleansers go bad faster than you can use all of it as it is only 12 months since opening the cleanser.

As a 36 year old who never was taught about skincare, I really struggled in beginning my journey to love my skin! My lack of knowledge really showed but CeraVe has really helped me to erase years of ignoring my skin. My skin is healthier, firmer and to be honest… glowing, all thanks to CeraVe!

It is so soothing and locks in moisture. I personally put the vitamin c in my fridge to keep it cold . It’s works better for me

In my journey of dealing with acne ,white heads and black heads ,i ended up using products that left my face so dry ,dehydrated and flaky .I incorporated the salicylic acid cleanser & hydrating cleanser alternatively in my routine alongside the moisturising cream which in turn returned my skin to it’s original glory .I built back my skin barrier with the help of these two products and my skin has never reverted because of the consistency

This is an amazing product. It absolutely does what is expected . I have very dry skin and this is one of the only creams that gives my skin the moisture it needs.

CeraVe's Foaming Cleanser has become a staple in my skincare routine. The gentle formula effectively removes impurities without leaving my skin feeling stripped or dry. It's fragrance-free, making it ideal for sensitive skin. The inclusion of ceramics contribute to a hydrating experience, leaving my complexion balanced. This cleanser provides a refreshing cleanse, making it a reliable choice for anyone seeking a no-fuss, effective skincare essential.

to say the least, i have a love-hate relationship with the facial moisturizing PM lotion. i used it for about a couple of months before i switched to another moisturizer, and i'm so glad that i decided to switch. my skin is oily and combo so i was unsure of what would be the best moisturizer for my skin type. at first, it worked so well and my skin always felt so rejuvenated after but as i kept using (never changing my skincare products) it began to dry out my skin and leave a white cast. this is my personal experience, so i'd just try to test patch areas of your body before using the products. plenty of people use this brand and love it so just try it out for yourself to see what works for your skin type/issues. overall, i'll give it a 3.5/5 because the lotion did it's job for the meantime until my skin got used to the product.

Always loved Cerave, it's been a timeless and dependable brand especially when it comes to cleansers and moisturizers! Personally, I use their cleansers and retinol since I have other moisturizers that work better for my combination and sensitive skin. But that being said if you have sensitive skin like I do and hesitant to try strong retinol, then try their skin renewing or skin resurfacing retinol serums. Skin renewing is the purple bottle for anti-aging and fine lines, skin resurfacing is the baby blue bottle used to resurface the skin like a gentle exfoliation. No bad side effects for me when I used it but remember to moisturize daily and nightly as their cleansers and retinol can be drying for some. Enjoy <3

I loved how my skin looked after the first day/night of using it. The only thing I would request is I bought the one for dry skin and it made my skin feel dryer

I depend on CeraVe to help the dry skin areas on my arms and legs. Since I started using it a year ago, there has been a big difference in my skin.

For me, CeraVe creams are the best. I wouldn't trade them for anything. I have hormonal acne, and these creams are the ones my skin loves the most.

I have used the CeraVe Hydrating cleanser for normal to dry skin for about 5 years. I find it gentle and cleanses well. Some other cleaners I have tried had a burning effect

I have been using CeraVe SA cleanser for quite sometime and I absolutely love it, its very effective for Acnes and pimples and works within 3-7days...it could be very harsh on sensitive skin, so I'll advice minimal use.

Great cleanser for sensitive skin. I also like the mineral sunblock (spf 30). Even though the sunblock leaves behind a white film, I appreciate the ingredients.

Awful to my skin! Bought the cleanser for sensitive skin and my skin got worst, a lot of pimples started to appear.
