Cards Against Humanity

4.5
91% of reviewers would recommend to a friend
Cards Against Humanity wins big in reviews for delivering uproarious, easy-to-learn party play that sparks belly laughs, quick bonding, and late-night chaos—especially with larger groups and expansion packs—so yes, it works. Reviews also flag clear drawbacks: humor can be crass/NSFW and alienating for sensitive or mixed-age crowds, cards lose shock value with repetition, and some prompts feel dated or hard to play with certain audiences.

Such a fun game to play with friends!
Pretty creative sentence combos. The decks do get a little old after multiple games since there's no longer the same shock factor. Great for high school/college age.
A constant winner at all parties. Not for those that are sensitive as many of the cards are raunchy or graphic—but fun for anyone with a laid back, dark sense of humor
Super fun game, might get your feelings hurt.
My go to for game night, especially with a large group! Way to break the ice!
The way this game brings out the quirkiest thoughts and makes them the center of attention is pure magic. I've laughed so hard I've snorted, choked on my drink, and even had to take a breather to regain composure. Just remember, it's not for everyone, but if you're ready to dive into a whirlwind of unfiltered fun, this game is a laughter-packed must.
I have to admit I was sceptical about Cards Against Humanity. Originally when someone explained the concept behind the game, I wasn't sure I 'got it'. However, once you begin to play and understand the dark humour associated with the game, it can be hilariously fun and a great game to play with friends or family (adult only).

While these cards are fun if you understand the references, it's a different story if you don't.

Great to have for any occasion, especially gatherings with family or friends when you'd prefer not to watch TV. Always entertaining
I mean, who doesn’t love a game of Cards when everyone’s tipsy? It’s become a classic, and the expansion packs keep it interesting. Such a fun game!
The best game to play with friends. I love the ability to mix and match packs so that its a new experience every time.
It was a great game made for mature audiences ,with a great sense of humour. Great party game.
I get why people love this game and I’d even recommend it based off of how many people I know enjoy this game. I personally like other games more. But, if I were throwing a party, again I would get this because of its popularity and knowledge of how people enjoy it all ages.
Fun card game with the right group of people. Definitely not for kids and friends need to have a fun and open sense of humor.
Love the game! Obviously you need a little dark humor in you to enjoy the game with some families (cousins or the cool aunts and uncles) and friends.

It's a mixed bag for cards against humanity. The game is fantastic the first time you play it. Funny witty and downright dark. It ticks all the boxes and combined with some drinks can make for a great night with friends. I do stress do not play this game with family unless you're comfortable with memories etched into your skull that you'll take to the grave. The only downside is the fun dissipates quickly the more you play the game. This is the same with all board games in fairness so it doesn't differ from the market in that sense but having bumper packs that are more broadly marketed would help. They exist but you rarely go round s friend who says " you got to try the bumper packs for cards against humanity". It would be a great revenue stream if they were more popular so the formula needs tweaking. It's like the combinations aren't varied enough which means there are just a load of duds in the cards that just aren't funny. Not every card can be a zinger but when you're playing and you have a hand of cards that aren't funny it can be pretty boring.
fun game! hilarious to play with grandma.
To be honest, I’m giving this brand a five star review because the people who enjoy playing this game always seem to have a lot of fun. I am not the biggest fan of this game, but I will openly admit it’s just because I don’t like this type of gameplay, not because it isn’t the best version of this on the market. 🤷🏻♀️
This is the most fun game to play with friends and family. Lots of laughs and good times!
