I really like this shampoo! It feels super clean, lathers nicely, and the ingredients are all natural which I love. My hair always feels fresh and light after using it, and the scent is so refreshing. Definitely one of those products I’m happy to keep in my routine!

The shampoo and conditioner were nice. They were lightweight but still hydrating. While the pump was convenient, I'd rather the bottles also had aluminum caps and avoided plastic altogether.

This shampoo and conditioner set are both lightweight and smell great. I do find I need to use a conditioner mask because this conditioner is not the most hydrating, but I appreciate teh smell and some of the texture these products give my hair.

I like this shampoo and conditioner. I think it smells great and I love th packaging. However I don't know how much it does for my hair type (thick and wavy), so I don't know if I would repurchase for myself

Exceptional hair care that is not only pure but also highly effective. Additionally, it's a reliable brand – very transparent about their mission and products. Captain Blankenship's products completely transformed the texture and appearance of my hair. Will purchase again (and yes, can be purchased in Australia - yay!).

I suffer from very dry and brittle hair, especially during the harsh winter months in Chicago.  I have tried several hydrating treatments and each one has left lack luster results.  However, theCaptain Blankenship Nourish Hair & Scalp Serum is simply amazing.  For one, the smell is out of this world and each time I use it I feel like I am either at a luxurious spa or on a lovely vacation.  However, the fact that I have also seen miraculous results in the texture and softness of my hair is the best thing I could ask for.  I applied it as directed and my hair was so easy to comb through and the moisture was locked in even after blowing it dry and using a flat iron.  The shine and softness are so nice to finally see.  I will definitely be purchasing this again and love how reasonably priced it is compared to others on the market!

Was looking for a product to apply to my hair before styling and thought I'd give this one a try. It smells good but it is a tad greasy upon application. I'll have to try it a few more times and experiment with dry vs. wet hair, but recommend using a very small amount.

These smell nice, but they didn’t do anything for my curly hair. It feels dry after washing. The shampoo felt almost astringent as I was lathering in my hair. It didn’t cause any damage, but definitely also didn’t do any favors. Kind of a bummer since I love the brands whimsy and mission, but I need products that moisturize my curls first and foremost.

I was looking forward to trying this product as I am a big fan of products that use seaweed as their hero ingredient! However, I was a bit disappointed with the shampoo. I have very thin, dry, and occasionally brittle hair, and I look for natural hair care products–both shampoo and conditioner–that will 1) strengthen my hair and scalp; 2) help detangle hair post-shower to prevent breakage and hair loss, 3) help hydrate the hair, especially the ends. The shampoo didn't lather as well so I ended up using multiple pumps, and it left my hair extremely dry. The conditioner helped hydrate the hair but it wasn't enough to help detangle my dry hair strands that resulted from the shampoo. I do love the brand's mission though and I'm eager to try their hair/scalp serum.

I bought the Hair and Scalp serum. I was really surprised when I first used it. My scalp was tingling. It felt really good. When I rinsed it out, I could tell an immediate difference. My scalp was not itching at all. It got all the residue off my scalp. It also made my hair silky. I have highlighted hair and it can get really dry. I am a real fan and I will continue to use this. Wonderful product.

Find that the sea weed shampoo and conditioner make my hair fuller

I am impressed with the increased volume after using the cleanse shampoo and hydrate conditioner. The thin consistency of the shampoo takes a little getting used to but if I feel my hair has extra product, will apply a 2nd dose of shampoo for my lather satisfaction! The natural scents are refreshing and I enjoy taking in the vanilla scent of the conditioner hours afterwards. Would love to see a different color bottle for the shampoo vs the conditioner to quickly distinguish one from the other in the shower. Looking forward to trying other products from Captain Blankenship!

Very impressed with the shampoo and conditioner. My hair feels clean, but not stripped and although the conditioner initially felt too light for my naturally curly hair, it actually does a good job of moisturizing. I am very sensitive to smells and I really like that they don't add any extra fragrance.
