Reviews mention

  • Effective scalp-exfoliating shampoo
  • Rich, nourishing conditioning mask
  • Pleasant, refreshing fragrances
  • Clean, naturally derived formulas
  • Inconsistent frizz-taming performance
  • Overpowering rose scent options
  • Awkward tub and nozzle packaging
  • Watery, thin shampoo texture

Briogeo earns strong reviews for effective scalp-care and deep-conditioning—Scalp Revival charcoal scrub and Don’t Despair, Repair! mask frequently leave hair cleaner, softer, and more manageable—yet the brand is inconsistent for frizz control and some formulas feel thin or drying. Reviews also note polarizing scents (from subtle to overpowering rose), tricky tub packaging and sprayer nozzles, and reports of recent formula changes and occasional irritation.

  • I really like their charcoal scalp scrub but that's about it. I used to get their huge tubs of conditioner but found myself looking forward to using it up. Nothing really stood out to me. After switching to a new shampoo/conditioner I felt like my hair stayed cleaner for longer. The stuff I've tried isn't necessarily bad though - I'd buy it again if it was on sale and I think it works decently, it's just not amazing. I'd be willing to try some of their other products.

  • I have used the Curl Charisma Leave-In Defining Creme; Don't Despair, Repair Conditioner; and Superfoods Replenishing Conditioner. I love all of them! I have curly/wavy hair that's getting thinner as I age. My hair seems to fall flat in the winter and get frizzy in the summer. The conditioners make my hair silky without weighing it down. I can use them at any time of the year. I also like to use the Curl Charisma Leave-In Defining Creme when I plop my hair overnight after washing and I wake up with soft curls and no frizz! I had to experiment with how much to use (you don't need a lot).

I really appreciate this company's missions, which include inclusivity and sustainability, but wish they would try to expand away from plastic recycling and put some of their products in aluminum.

  • I've tried the Briogeo Farewell Frizz Rosarco Milk Leave-In Conditioning Spray. I've used it on my hair and my daughter's hair. It did not provide super great results for either of us. It didn't help at all with frizz, or anything else really. The scent was okay, but also could be a bit better.

While this particular product was not a good match, I do think that the brand is overall a good one.

  • I love these products, they make my hair feel great and smell great. Keep in mind since there are natural ingredients you must use before expiration date

  • Love love love. Scents are great. So many options of products. Highly recommend.

  • The hair masks are phenomenal! The whole don't despair repair line is really good.

Hope they keep the honey bear mask, right now it's limited edition.

  • I think that the Briogeo products are very high quality. I like the charcoal scalp scrub shampoo and the deep conditioning mask a lot! I think they work very well!

The only thing I would change about the products are the price, but I think the quality justifies the prices!

  • I tried their scalp scrub and liked it. I wouldn’t say I saw big results but I do have a sensitive scalp and it felt nice to use and didn’t flare up my scalp which is a big win.

  • hair changing products. they do exactly what they claim to. priced affordably, safe, and smell great.

  • I used to love their hair products but i think they changed their formulas? It doesn’t work like it used to be

  • Absolutely love their products! The Scalp Revival products feel incredible and help my hair stay fresh for days. The Superfood Matcha + Apple shampoo and conditioner makes my hair smell yummy and feel soft. Love that I switched to Briogeo and look forward to trying more of their products

  • I'm a big fan of their charcoal scalp scrub. I use a natural cowash (New Wash), which sometimes can leave my hair not feeling like I really got it completely clean. I use the charcoal scrub about once per week, or when my hair is feeling particularly dirty, or my scalp particularly itchy. I only use it on my scalp, not through the ends of my hair, which helps reduce the cost. It leaves my hair mega shiny and stays clean for a long time. I buy it through Sephora, so I haven't interacted directly with the brand. I originally received this product as a free sample through Sephora.

  • I recently tried the Briogeo Scalp Revival Set, and while I was pleased with its effectiveness in relieving scalp itchiness and protecting my hair color, I was disappointed with the value for money. The set includes a shampoo, conditioner, and a scalp treatment, and while they work wonders on my hair, the size of the products is quite small for the price point. The shampoo and conditioner leave my hair feeling clean and moisturized, and the scalp treatment is particularly effective in relieving itchiness and dryness. Additionally, I noticed that it helped protect my hair color, which was a great bonus. However, given the high price for the small amount of product, I'm not sure if I would repurchase this set. While I appreciate the quality of the ingredients and the effectiveness of the products, I wish there was more value for money. Overall, if you're willing to invest in quality hair care products and have a smaller budget, then the Briogeo Scalp Revival Set may be worth it for you.

  • using their mango and cherry balancing shampoo and conditioner combined with their scalp revivial shampoo for scalp treatment is the best smelling combination you will ever have. The scalp revivial shampoo literally revives my scalp, no itchyness, no left over product feeling on my scalp. The mango and cherry shampoo and conditioner leaves such a beautiful and healthy shine I always get compliments on my hair.

I would upgrade to this if you have dry ends but oily scalp, if you suffer frm dandruff, if you are looking for a long lasting smell that isnt too powerful.

  • Literally nothing smells better than the kale superfood conditioner. AND it makes my hair super soft and silky, so win-win.

  • My absolute favorite scalp product is the scalp revival exfoliating shampoo. The little micro exfoliants really helped with the dead skin on my scalp and helped my hair looking fresh and healthy. It also made my hair less greasy in between washes.

I did not like the tub packaging as I felt like in the shower, water would get into the container so it just became really messy. It would be much easier to use in a tube packaging.

  • I use the don’t despair, repair deep conditioning mask along with the charcoal scalp scrub and they work like a dream! My scalp is much less itchy/irritated and hair is nourished and healthiest it’s been in years. Helped me bring back my colored / damaged hair to its shiny, healthy natural state. Major plus? Clean ingredients!!!

  • I tried their hairspray and it wasn't my favourite but their hairmask was amazing!!

    Feedback

    a bit expensive, but understandably

  • Favorite conditioner is the Don’t Despair Repair line. Shampoo and hair masks have protein which for my hair type I try to avoid. Great brand!

  • I tried the leave in conditioner and the gel. Love both, I haven’t found other brands that work for me. I have wavy hair that gets easily weighed down but also needs a lot of hold. Also the products smell amazing.
