Bombas reviews and discussion

Reviews mention

  • Plush cushioning comfort
  • Supportive honeycomb arch band
  • Secure no-show heel grip
  • Breathable, moisture-wicking knit
  • Inconsistent long-term durability
  • Occasional tight calf compression
  • Notably thick, warm knit
  • Sizing and fit variability

Bombas earns strong reviews for comfort, support, and stay-put performance—especially in running, no-show, kids’ gripper, and compression socks—while its one-pair-donated mission resonates. Reviews also flag real drawbacks: frequent reports of holes within months to a couple years, occasional shrinking or tight calves/ankles, some styles too thick or warm, and inconsistent fit among designs, making quality feel uneven despite many long-lasting pairs.

  • This brand is the only brand of socks my family now owns! I love what the company stands for, the quality of socks and the unique options. This is our special splurge gift every Christmas for the entire family!

Highly recommend, product replacement guarantee as well!!

  • I found Bombas socks a few years ago when I was gifted a pair of ankle socks. They quickly became my favorite pair. One pair just wasn't enough. I ordered a large pack and was obsessed. Then the weather changed and I realized I needed higher pairs for boots. The calf socks were perfect, then summer happened again and I needed NO show socks. Bombas makes THE BEST no show socks, they are so comfortable and don't fall off your feet every 5 seconds. The next thing I new the addiction began. I found the different socks for different occasions. As a runner and spin fanatic the running socks changed my life. This past holiday I gifted everyone with their own pairs.

Overall I find Bombas socks to be incredible quality. I actually only now have Bombas in my drawers. I do wish they had more subdued designs or 6 packs of monochromatic socks. I love the multi colored grey or green socks but I don't love the only way to get them sometimes is one pair in a multi pack. I do think they company is incredible, if the socks are destroyed they happily replace them and they are always donating. Its just refreshing to have a company that cares about its consumers and others.

  • On the whole, seems like a great brand. I had some quality issues with my first trial order that make me concerned about long term performance. Cushioned No-Show Socks (M) are a great value that have held their elasticity so far. Cotton Underwear is super soft and comfortable. Toddler lightweight socks are fun and comfy (2 year old loves them!). A pair of Performance Cycling Calf Socks got a hole on their very first use, sadly. For $17 I would have expected a little more longevity. The hole is in a place where it hasn't really affected my ability to use them, and otherwise they are extremely comfortable, but gives me pause about their QC process and long term viability. Overall, despite the hole, I'd recommend and will probably order some more socks from them (in particular the no-shows are far superior than any I've tried from other brands), but may avoid athleisure or performance lines for the time being

    Quality Control, Long Term Usability

  • had these socks for quite awhile they have held up well to the rest of time but not sure they are worth the money. not that different than any regular sock imo🤷‍♀️

the back part sticks out of shoes too much :/

  • My son is 1 years old and these are the ONLY socks that don't roll off when he is crawling or running around. Trust me, I have tried tons of socks. They are also very well made, have great rubber grips and can be worn as tall or folded down as ankle socks, so they are super versatile. They are a bit more expensive, but they also donate 1 product for for every 1 item purchased to homeless so I feel good about spending a little extra.

I wish they were a little less expensive, but they are worth it!

  • I LOVE Bombas!!! The price of the socks may be a deterrent for people but it shouldn't be - they are that price for a reason! They use high-quality materials and they also donate one pair for every pair bought. They are warm, comfortable, and built to last.

  • Hands down one of my favorite products and brands! The brand mission is amazing and to know you are really having an impact when you purchase makes it so great (and worth the price). The socks themselves are also so great. Such a game changer in terms of quality. Truly believe the investment is worthwhile and they always have great styles, new collabs, etc.

  • Nearly the only socks that I wear now! I have a variety of styles but my latest favorite are the Chunky Ragg Calf Sock or ribbed calf sock which don't have the hex pattern so I can wear with loafers or flats in winter. They are a steeper price point but amazing quality and company mission.

  • I am a sock snob, and I LOVE bombas! They’re super comfortable and fit your foot in all the right places for that satisfying perfect comfy fit. They last as long or longer than any other sock and I only replace our old socks now with Bombas. My favorites are actually the performance socks (even though I don’t do sports anymore) for the slight compression that I enjoy the feeling of!

  • Very durable and comfortable hiking socks. Also got a couple pairs of their reading socks and those are warm and durable as well. Great fit for a wide range of foot sizes.

  • I bought several pair for myself, loved them so much that I saw they made infant socks and bought a pair for my sister's new baby! The kid will grow up knowing high quality everything :)

    Influencer for Bombas
  • This brand has so many colors, patterns and designs to chose from, and their socks are so comfy. I have owned a few pairs of their socks before, and they last a really long time, making them worth the money. Furthermore, Bombas supports people in need with every purchase. What more does you need in a brand?

    Feedback

The only drawback to Bombas is the price. Their products are expensive, but when their contributions to charity and high quality are taken into consideration, charging a little extra is understandable.

  • I have a love hate relationship with Bombas. They are the MOST comfortable and luxury socks when you first get them, but they break down faster than any other sock I’ve ever owned. I’ve never had holes in my socks until trying bombas. The mission is great and they send you replacements if you get a hole, but the process is time consuming and I’ve had to follow up multiple times before someone actually sends a replacement.

    Feedback

I wish they would last longer because I love them! I have had to replace mine like 5 times in 2 years and I don’t machine dry them or wear them exclusively.

  • Bombas are, by far, the finest socks that my feet have encountered. Oh, the many ways that I love them. Something about the silhouette of the sock rocks me to my core and provides supreme form and comfort. The hexagon pattern across the mid-sole relieves the pressure on my flat arches. The extra padding at the toes and the heel protects me from the rigid surfaces of the world. And the lip around my ankles is tight but not too tight, snug but not too snug, with just enough room for breathability and security. Upon seeing the bee logo on the high sock variant, a friend of mine asked me "are you wearing Gucci socks?" And with a cunning grin I replied, "God no. These are my bombas." And that feeling of pride stayed with me ever since. I miss my bombas when I'm wearing not them. I think about them when I'm in the shower barefoot. I sleep in them—I was never a sock sleeper before bombas.

I LOVE THEM. WELL MADE. THE BEST. I THREW MY NIKE CREW SOCKS AWAY.

  • A few years ago I got a free pair of basic classic Bombas as a holiday gift from an agency we worked with. It seemed like an odd gift, but I guess they were trying to highlight the do-gooder aspect of the brand (they supposedly donate a pair for each bought). I was set to NOT like them because I had already seen a few influencers who had been hawking them and I actually count that in the neg column, because I cringe when a brand gives stuff to people with abs who seem to love everything. Problem is once I tried the socks, I was hooked. I'm an addict. They are so comfortable... that honeycomb thing around the middle is like an all day hug for your foot. I now have their ski socks (very pretty), their running socks (so excellent for this middle aged 5K runner), and a pair of compression socks (one pair only, but they're groovy stylish for compression). I've now outfitted my kids and family with basketball socks and running socks because my kids are fit and... they kept stealing my socks.

The only "bad" thing is the price. They are pricey in this world of cheap socks. I like that they don't have endless sales, but they really only have the intro trial coupon and Black Friday. I wait for Black Friday every year... it's now like 3 years of waiting and the bad thing is by then the styles have moved on so it's hard to find matches for ones you already have. I also unsubbed from their emails because they were relentless... like nearly daily. Also love the pretty socks, but again... the usual pack discounts are great but... it gets spendy to outfit yourself in these. And yeah, the mission is nice (buy a pair, they donate a pair) but I guess I'm wondering who is getting the supposed free pairs from them? I volunteer for a homeless shelter and if I ever saw them getting Bombas I'd be truly impressed. But seriously I guess I'd love to know more about the donations. The photo on this review was not posed for Bombas, I just remembered it, as we built a pandemic treehouse and this was a memorable day with my daughter we enjoyed before the roof was on.

    Sale or special offer
  • Truly the most comfortable socks you will ever wear. The ankle pad and arch support are like walking on a cloud.

    Feedback

Sometimes they will get worn out, but Bombas customer service is great and will replace them for free if you order on the same account.

    Invested in Bombas
  • I’m actually annoyed I love these socks so much. Pricey? Yes. Worth it? Also yes. So soft, cushy, wear well, wash well, and made to last. Top it off that they are a social good brand - boom, sold for life. I even got my husband hooked. Keeping my second job so I can buy socks :) Not max about it

    Pretty dang good, idk!

  • Socks are a strange item to "love," but it's by no means an understatement when I say that about my Bombas socks. I have purchased multiple sets of the half-calf and ankle socks, and I still have the first pair I bought three years ago. I typically wear them around the house due to how comfortable they are; they haven't stretched out or shown much, if any, wear. I appreciate how they hold their shape and hug my feet plus the designs are fun but not flashy.

  • The socks are incredibly comfortable good for standing long hours shifts. One thing I dislike about the product is that it is quite costly for 1 sock but I decided to have it a try for the hype. I like how they give out one free pair donate for every purchase I think that is very kind for those who needs it.

  • The socks fit well and are cute and comfortable, but the only thing I would change is that i'd like to see the branding be a little more subtle, I would like an option where the sock can be a solid color.
