  • I like this watch because it doesn’t slide up and down my arm due to band size. I think the style and color is awesome. It’s a bit expensive for a child, but hopefully it will last awhile. This watch I bought is for me! 68 years old with a small wrist. I only wished it had time and date.

Time and date would be a nice addition to this watch.

What is Blok Watches?

Blok Watches sells collections of Swiss-made and durable analog watches for kids.

In their own words

Blok is an unapologetically analog Swiss-made children’s watch designed for the next generation. The team set out to create a stylish, high-end watch to help children understand intervals of time. With supreme quality, durability and timeless luxury, Blok is built to last. Designed with traditional Swiss-made techniques and assembled in Lugano, Switzerland, Blok aims to preserve the analog in today’s digital world. For more information, please visit blokwatches.com. The debut Blok 33 Collection comes 6 characterful color ways and sports a 33-millimeter case that is ergonomically designed for a smaller wrist. The featuring a three-hand Swiss-made ETA quartz movement, the anti-shock mechanism and 10-year battery life have been engineered so that no servicing is required. The kid-proof sapphire-glass lens and stainless-steel screw-down crown complement the tough bio-polymer case material, ensuring the watch achieves a diver-grade 10 ATM/100-meter water resistance. A run-through strap design with Velcro fastening ensures on-the-fly strap changes are a breeze. The Blok 33 Collection timepiece introduces a proprietary rotating bezel that is broken into four playfully graphic time “bloks” and allows kids to set 5-, 10-, 20- and 30-minute intervals. These “bloks” of time are intentionally designed to help children better understand the concept of time and to explore it on their own terms, bolstering their sense of independence. “We aimed to make the abstract nature of time understandable and useful for children growing up in an increasingly fast-paced world,” says co-founder Neil Ferrier. “Not to mention aiming to end the timeless question of ‘Are we there yet?’” The Blok 33 Collection is available for purchase at www.blokwatches.com and retails for US$179.
